It's not just great... it's PENULTIMATE!

Hey Fezzik, are there any rocks ahead? On topic, Artoomis tried to make this the penultimate penultimate discussion. Thanks piratecat for nipping that bit of irony (if that's the correct use of that word) in the bud.

It's not just great... it's PENULTIMATE!

Let me explain. And I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand, you warthog-faced bafoon.

It's not just great... it's PENULTIMATE!

That would be absolutely, totally and in all other ways inconceivable.

    Underwater Flying [2006 Thread]

Swinging your sword wouldn't be considered normal movement for underwater.

    Swordsage questions

It's that whole Yin Yang thing. You know; soft supresses hard, good couldn't exist without evil, finding calm within chaos. It's a person that uses both aspects of an opposing force.

    Adamantine, arrows and you.

If I were spending that much per arrow then there would never be any lost. I wouldn't care if I had to swim through 5 feet of sewage. I bet the fighter with the adamantine broadsword would say the same.

Rogue survival in the land of the unliving. Looking for advice...

Wouldn't a spiked chain designed for a gnome only be 5' reach? A gnome couldn't use a regular spiked chain since it's normally a double weapon, right?

    Swordsage questions

Imagine a 20th level Swordsage with Diamond Mind and Tiger Claw disciplines having taken Raging Mongoose, Girallon Windmill Flesh Rip and Time Stands Still. If this person were to dual-wield (if possible to use weapons from each discipline) how many attacks would he get (assuming 2-weapon...

    [ToB] Crusader

I thought that you can only use one maeuver per round. The Swordsage gets an ability at a later level that allows them to use two. Can Crusaders do that at 1rst level?

    Incorporeal Undead wearing Armour?

That would take away a ghosts ability to pick up and use Ghost Touch weapons that the PC's were carrying.

Is there any way to make the Iatjusu focus skill useful?

What if two Iajutsu Masters squared off? Would they both get a surprise round on the other? Are they required to make some kind of check (sense motive or some such) to see who strikes first? Does it just go straight to initiative?

Have you ever seen the movie Labrynth with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly?

    #attacks, AoO and Cleave

I doubt any amount of written evidence will sway him. Any time I try that he just claims rule 0. I would consider combining flurry of blows with 'secondary' natural attacks but not a full set of natural attacks (ie. not allowing claw attacks [for creatures with only two limbs] but allowing a...

    #attacks, AoO and Cleave

My current character just entered the Enlightened Fist PrC. I had plans to go the route of the shape shifter for my unarmed strikes plus natural attaks. The DM said that you can't combine the two and I told him that there is an official ruling on it (there is an official ruling on it, right?)...

Try again <sigh> Monks and Improve Natural Attack

I often times think of meeting the prerequisite as having the preprequisite. I guess it is flawed logic.

Try again <sigh> Monks and Improve Natural Attack

Actually, Some prestige classes have prerequisites of spell casting ability even if the spell casting ability is just a spell like effect. The effect then becomes a prerequisite.

Try again <sigh> Monks and Improve Natural Attack

Up to that point yes. But there he is denying the stacking of improved unarmed strike and improved natural attack. (?)

Try again <sigh> Monks and Improve Natural Attack

I'm confused by this post. Up to this point he was for improved unarmed attack. Is this serious? Is he being sarcastic? Is he just trying to make a failed attempt at pointing out ambiguity?

Try again <sigh> Monks and Improve Natural Attack

No. I don't consider monks to be creatures... I consider the race that has monk levels to be the creature. Human would be a creature, elf would be a creature, gnome would be a ...er something, halfling would be a creature. Monk would be a class, fighter would be a class, wizard would be a...
