    Storm Front

I can't wait for this TV series to come out. Hopefully, it will fill the void that Buffy/Angel left. If anybody hasn't read this sereies yet, I highly suggest it. However, you have to get to the third or fourth book for it to really get good. Your're right Elf Witch, I can't figure out why...

    Scorpion bigger than human described

I think (and I could be wrong), Origins: Battle for the Planet focused mainly on the sea, right before land animals evolved (I haven't actually seen it). Walking with Monsters/Before the Dinosaurs kinda picks up after that. When animals were just coming out of the sea and up until the dinosaurs.

    Scorpion bigger than human described

Yeah, it's the same show. I'm not sure why they gave it two totally different names

I love stuff like this :) Did anybody catch Walking With Monsters on the Discovery Channel? They had a section abaout the Silurian period, 410 million years ago, where the scorpians domonated the land and preyed on our distant fishy ancestor, the Alaspis. Great stuff.

    Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd

Hey, thanks - in the 3+ years I've been on this board, I think you're the only one who has made the connection and commented on it. And yes, I'm a pretty big fan :) I'd also like to suggest Walk the Line to all you Johnny Cash fans out there. While I'm not a big fan of Joaquin Phoenix, he...

    Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd

I have a pretty extensive collection of Johnny Cash cds, but I don't seem to recall him doing a Pink Floyd cover (but I could be wrong). I even posted this question on the official website's forum (JohnnyCash.com), and, so far, nobody has heard of it.

    Initiative Boards?

I'm gonna have to one of these! I really like the effects area - my group has a hard time keeping track of these.

Deer Hunting The Good Old Fashioned Way

I took an archaeology class where we got to use atlatls. The darts are really hard to throw and definitely take some practice. But once you get it mastered, they can go pretty far.

    Amazing Christmas Light Display

Hair spray and spandex did mix for a time...

Yeah, I only really liked Dio's early stuff. Holy Diver, The Last in Line, and Sacred Heart were great. I really liked Black Sabbath's Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules. And, I also really liked the stuff he did with Rainbow: Long Live Rock 'N' Roll, Rainbow Rising, and Richie Blackmore's Rainbow...

What no mention of Ronnie James Dio? Man I used to love that guy. I also loved the stuff he did with Black Sabbath. And what D&D fan could not appreciate his concerts? Dragons, knights, swords, kewl stuff! "Holy diver, you've been down too long in the midnight sea..."

    Forgotten Realms

    That too! :)

    Forgotten Realms

I think it has to do with magic going all wonky e.g. wild magic, dead magic, no divine magic etc. and gods dying/being replaced/portfolios shifting. [Although I may be wrong] Personally, I like all phases of FR but I am currently running a campaign in 3.5 FR.

Does anyone else not like Anne Mcaffery's books?

I tried to read one of them when I was in high school (almost 20 years ago) but I could not get into it. I still have no desire to read any of them-

    What is your Gaming Music

I use a lot of soundtrack music (from many of the movies listed above e.g. Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, etc.), but I have recently discovered soundtracks from videogames. I just got the soundtrack to Advent Rising and I really like it. Also, Orff: Carmina Burana is great for Gaming Music

I'm American and I don't like macaroni & cheese or hot dogs :)

D&D at The Barn (pics inside)

That looks great! And I'm jealous of that refrigerator - I so want a fridge in our gaming room.
