I'm 99% sure it will be turn-based. Baldur's Gate was turn based (but could be played realtime if I remember corectly) and Divinity is too (highly tactical turn-based).

While I do like short rest much more than long rest, it's really hard to redesign everything to short rest Classes/Features. So I did the opposite and just drippeled to short rest usage and make them long rest abilities instead (so 6 instead of 2 slots for a mid-level Warlock or 3 Action Surges...

What I find funny/awesome is that it even Supports Virtual Reality. So you have the table actually in front of you :) While I have the Programm, I have never actually used it since no one else I know bought it. The RPG Stuff looks awesome, but I'm not sure if it is too much work to set up and use.

I still weep for the Playtest-Sorcerer, who transformed more and more into a dragon-man (toughter, better at fighting) the more spells he had expended. Now that was a cool class, that was also quite different to the Wizard.

Just want to add that Sorcerers have one more Cantrip (most Cantrips of all Classes), which is nice but often forgotten. On the other hand at higher Level (11+) a Sorcerer only gets one Spell known every two Levels, while a Wizard gets 4 at the same timespan .. that can be quite frustrating...

Just make the Trident a simple weapon and its balanced again.

But if you are not concerned about balance, the why do you want to change the Trident?

That would not work. It would be balanced vs the Spear/Javelin, but suddenly overpowered compared to all other one-handed Martial Weapons.

Thanks! Seems like a really interesting Video. I once tried to make a more balanced Weapon Chart .. which I thought that couldn't be so hard, but it was actually really problematic since you don't have many Options to balance if a Weapon gets a feature.
