If it would have been once per short Rest, than it would have been incredible, but only directly after a short rest makes it very hard to use if you have a Problem at hand. Like you have a door or Chest that you would need to open, a trap to disable, you have to stop fire, charm a guard, etc...

And how many spells does a Cleric or Druid knows? Certainly much more than a Wizard. The Wizard is a better Ritual Caster, but that advantage/differentioations is actually a bit less in the new Version since everyone can now cast Rituals, including Sorcerers and non-book Warlock. Also...

Sorry have to vent a bit. You can just simply ignore this and think I'm a silly man, but I want to get that out of my system.. I always loved and played the Wizard until 5E, where spellcasting become so common that it felt mundane instead of wonderous. A class thats only feature is spellcasting...

I think the Cleric would really needed more domains, to be able to support all kind of deities. But it would have been easy for the Wizard if they would have gone anouther route than Spell-Type, like Bladesinger, Warwizard, Sage, Mystic,...

How do you actually play a adventuring trickery Cleric? I don't mean ruleswise, but storywise. Aren't trickery Deities connected to thiefs, spys and other secretive stuff? This would work as a solo Adventurer or Villain, but as soon as you use any of your given powers everyone around you knows...

What irritates me a bit is that Clerics and Druids are better at Cantrip Attacks than the Sorcerer and Wizard. Shouldn't they get a similar boost since they are completly dependend on their spells (lower HP and AC) and are considered the offensive spellcasters. Otherwise I really like the new...

I really like the new Monk. But I do wonder if Rogue and Monk feel a bit too similar now, with their bonus-action gameplay (disengage, dash,..) and their damage-reduction 1/round. Only the monk with more attacks and the rogue with big single hits.

You can only cast Pact Spells (from the Subclasses) with your Pact Magic. All other spells are powered by your half-caster slots. At first level you cannot even cast any spells except the Eldritch Blast Cantrip (which scales with Warlock Levels, so Multlass Dip ist not so usefull anymore 👍)...

Just checked UA6 .. at 3rd Spellvel it stayed for 8 hours and did 2d6 and with a 5th level slot it lasts 24 hours and deal 3d6 damage. But with a big caveat .. it only did this damage once per turn. Edit: Mellored beat me already to it. :)

They tried Druid Templates but got some hard pushback from part of the community (they say it has a 50/50 split for/against Shapeshift Templates). I myself would have loved templates, but with more options than they tested (burrow, size, etc.)

Didn't it go up with damage in the UA Version?

I have the feeling that these free spells per day should be cast at your highest level. That would fix all those scaling problems. Hunters Mark would deal more damage (at least if it works like the ua version), free find steed keeps keeps usefull when you get the options for flying steeds, the...
