D&D 5E (2024) Some new info on upcoming books, like Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide includes Magic Items

Well Realms & Worlds teased a plot hook for Thay. I suspect we will get a reasonable run down and some plot hooks for most nations in FR. Remember that Red Wizards of Thay is a faction as well so I would not be surprised if Thay got the 4 pages, or at least 2 pages, perhaps including the...

D&D 5E (2024) Some new info on upcoming books, like Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide includes Magic Items

https://www.gamesradar.com/tabletop-gaming/i-went-to-d-and-d-hq-to-see-the-2025-lineup-and-it-includes-everything-from-eberron-to-a-classic-adventure/ Things I noticed are Eberron: Forge of the Artificer will be offered optionally as part of a Bundle both digitally and physically with Eberron...

D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

The Moonshaes are very Arthurian traditionally, although it's not Ed Greenwoods original vision for them.

D&D General Mike Mearls sits down with Ben from Questing Beast

Ok finally watched it. Fascinating analysis. He's right about the distance between decision markers & fans, I think instead of cutting folks like Dan Dillion, they should have removed all the VP positions that D&D didn't need previously and move those folks to accounting or something. When...

D&D 5E (2024) Hasbro’s CEO promises new Dungeons and Dragons games, and says the firm is working with Saber Interactive on a AAA game using Swarm tech.

https://www.wargamer.com/dnd/hasbro-space-marine-2-dev-team-AAA-videogame Could Sabre be the ones who will make BG4?

D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

I think Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos might be an exception to that and the upcoming Lorwyn products seem very likely to be a collaborative process between the two teams.

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

My post above has 21 likes, so clearly this is not a popular piece of art and folks are getting tired of WotC making radical changes to iconic monsters appearances. I really hope WotC gets the message finally that folks are getting tired of the retcons, whether the Purple Dragon Knight or the...

D&D 5E (2024) Anyone else hoping the BG chapter of the Forgotten Realms Adventurers Guide Has Rules For Surfaces BG3 Style?

It does not have to be a 1 for 1 adaption, but it would be popular. I don't think it would be that hard to do honestly.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 MM - Winners and Losers

It was oddly inconsistent, Slaadi, Modrons, Empyreans were grouped together, Angels, Demons, Devils weren't, very inconsistent.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 MM - Winners and Losers

I've been saying this for years Slaadi are the single worst Planar exemplars, they are by actions Lawful Evil, not Chaotic Neutrel. I mean they at least tried to add some extra randomness to their attacks, but doesn't change the fact their society is well organized and they have the moral...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

The new Marilith looks absolutely awful, when I first saw the art, I had no clue it was a Marilith. I which WotC would stop doing stuff like this.

D&D General Why grognards still matter

Don't forget most of the setting lore outside of the 5 deep dives locations in the FRAG is actually in the FRPG making it more like the FRCS from 3e then the FRAG is which is closer to a 3e regional book. And I'll add it's hardcore & semi hardcore fans (Grognards usually) that drive the buzz...

D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

No it wasn't, it just ruined a whole bunch if settings. In theory, the idea of it seemed, cool until you saw alot of cool stuff you'd growled to love just absolutely ruined. I'm fine with omenpaths not just being a Kaldheim thing anymore.

There were strong hints they were set in the D&D multiverse.

Nerd Immersions take on things. Who knows maybe he is right and this is a prelude to merging the multiverses, who knows.

D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

I'm just talking about the D&D versions of Theros, Ravnica, Arcavois, and now Lorwyn being part of the D&D multiverse instead of the MtG multiverse, so that those versions don't get wrecked by some writers attempts to build "stakes" in their story. So a Theros for D&D & a separate Theros for...
