What is the education level (age) of your group(s)?

One of my groups, mostly graduate degrees except for me and the professional comic book artist, I think we are all over 50, or close. One of my groups, everyone's in their mid-30's - oh maybe someone just turned 4-0. Another group is my high school gaming group, so we are all 59. 2 other groups...

D&D General Cities - gazeteers, adventures, etc. Please share your resources

Inspired by another thread, I just had a thought about a "city" campaign, that takes place in a bunch of cities. The party start as a bunch of Rat Catchers - yes, just like a Warhammer Fantasy campaign; but are quickly noticed by the "Custodians Guild" for their skills. The Custodians Guild of...

D&D General Turgenev's Friday Freebie Maps

For added hilarity, make the corridors that lead to it slope up to it, so when they are thrown off, they tumble back down the corridor and take more damage. Also since they are coming UP to it, they don't actually know it's a spin trap until they step on it...

    D&D 5E (2024) What's Your 2026 WotC D&D Wishlist?

I only read the first 20 posts, so maybe folks have already said these. Also caveat, I haven't read the 5e24 books yet, so maybe some of these are covered in depth in some of them? A good megadungeon A true Sandbox adventure that is not a Path. An adventure that highlights social and political...

Starfinder Have you ever run Starfinder with a different system?

If only I hadn't sold all my Starfinder stuff. I enjoyed the world a lot; but the pathfinder rules set as expected was a bit much for our table. I think our group would love a slightly stripped down version, maybe even simpler than 5e. We also found scaling equipment to be weird. Like, I had to...

Looking for advice on starting a store & initial inventory

When I owned my store, I was able to live a middle class life, and my wife didn't have to work. I was very lucky however in that the first year I bought my store, Pokemon TCG came out in the US, and I had contacts in Japan, and I was able to gross a very surprising amount of money, enough I was...

Looking for advice on starting a store & initial inventory

Yup, my son lives in Inner Sunset - city enough to be city; but not so city to be overwhelming. He goes to SF State, she works downtown - so it's a perfect spot for them. and perfect for us his parents - we get to go visit him there!
