Sam decides to switch tactics a bit. He holds his arm up a bit and from the canon springs forth a large blade of force. He takes this and tries to skewer Golem where he stands. OOC: 8 Damage, Imp Crit 4.

OOC: Just to make sure we are clear, I scanned the room with the Hanging Zombies* in it and found no secret doors? Seems weird to have no doors at all in it. * "Hanging Zombies" sounds like a great name for a band. :devil: :cool:

As the creature collapses, Tau notices the frigid temperature spike suddenly before abating significantly. The encounter over, Tau relaxes with a great sigh. "Let's get patched up and then gather up the remains. We have to get him buried properly so his spirit can be put to rest."

"Yes, I understand. Seems reasonable to me. I have my Rope Trick ready to go. But first let me try and find those secret doors. Keep an eye on those 'things' for me while I look." Kerlan then casts Detect Secret Doors and starts scanning the room, starting with the wall behind him.

Seeing little effect from his cannon Sam switches modes and sends a spray of energy blasts at the Golem in an attempt to give aid to Redstone.

Kerlan takes a good look at the bodies hanging from the ceiling.

Kerlan enters the room. Keeping away from the blood stained floor he moves along the top wall surveying the room. "Well no exits. I guess that means more secret doors. Lets start looking." OOC: Kerlan moves to BG-39.

I'm having problems posting in the game thread. It always either comes up a blank white page or says they only allow posting every 30 seconds even though I haven't made any other recent posts. I can post in another game I'm on though just fine. And evidently in this thread as well.

As they gather in the room of the trapped doors, Kerlan places the plug in the depression in the wall. He does so with the notch at 12:00. "Be prepared." With what happened before at the 3:00 position, he decides to start instead by turning the plug to 6:00 first and see what happens.

Kerlan waits a few seconds, still staring at the ceiling. Finally satisfied that nothing is going to happen, he relaxes and smiles at the others. "That's the adventuring life. Now lets go put this plug where I thing it goes." He begins heading back to the room with the trapped doors, the...

Kerlan works to place the plug back into the hole. If successful he will turn it to 9:00 position and pull. After doing so he immediately looks to the ceiling and prepares to bolt if necessary.
