My guess is that the revised core books later this year will keep Grayhawk as the default settings, with little to no change to non-mechanics that reference it.

The Cosmopolitan Feat is a great feat, and would probally be a better solution then a new core class. Its not as if the Fighter Class does not have enough feats to spare a general one for Cosmopolitan.
