I agree that a headset mic is a must. Otherwise the mic on the desk picks up the talking coming from the speakers (usually also sitting on the desk) and rebroadcasts it so you get an echo. We've tried both Team Speak and Skype and have gone with Skype as it works better for us. rv

I find using Skype with our VT speeds things up a lot. It is so much faster to just be able to say what is happening or for someone to ask a question then wait for them to type it out. With typing, the game somewhat slows down to the speed of the slowest typer. My guys still type some in...

FG seems to handle such things pretty well. I've had up to 8 players connected and using voice software (plus several web pages open) with no issues. My maps tend to be on the large size at around 500k and up to 800k or so. I've had up to 50 tokens on the map at once... FG started to have issues...

Does anyone else think it is weird that a (for example) 13th level caster can cast a 1st level Animate Dead and create a 20 HD Zombie (say from an Ettin) but a 6th level Create Undead can only make a 4 HD Ghast (not from an Ettin... but a humanoid)? Am I missing something? Haste and Zombies...
