I wonder how useful the creation kit will be for creating campaigns. Are we talking NWN/SR:R-scale toolkit? I hope so, but made easier for any gamer to wrap his head around. I don't know about you, but I'd like to see some persistent servers up and running like the old NWN days.

It's a lot easier to maintain through play-by-post. The most thematic and story-driven games I've ever played(also with great prep) have been on play-by-post sites.

This is pretty similar to my own prep. You have a few pages of overall lore/prep, and the party only touches on this or that per session. It's more of a snapshot of the current setting for DM use than a play-by-play adventure prep.

+1 An 'eras of play' table is a definite must. I wouldn't even mind small paperback gazetteer-handbooks per era. Even pdfs would do. This would also work well for other settings with many eras of play.

Modiphius is going to have some stiff competition with Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea, which just came out a two or three years ago and many people into Conan-eqsue weird fantasy settings are pretty happy with the game. The Mutant Chronicles mechanics do sound interesting though.
