    I'm not for sure I even want to see massive setting-bible books anymore. I wouldn't mind small Gazetteer-type books that breakdown the setting and give player/DM options. Small PDF releases can be done per setting to detail special areas/groups/times.

    What Trapdoor needs is a new project manager. Matney is clearly unprepared for the many aspects the project and kickstarter are failing at. Proper financing, team size, clear strategy and goals, etc. The whole thing has been very seat-of-pants. They need to hire a real business manager.

    WotC's Chris Perkins Talks Realms & Sundering

    That was a terrible interview. A lot of Drizzt-this and Drizzt-that(I love Drizzt, but he is not the Realms), and the rest was all political side-stepping. That was a waste of the interviewer's time and my own. It was like a post-game interview with a professional head coach.

    Half of me agrees with you, but the other half says, "If you want inspiration writing, their are a hundred non-system-specific GM Help books." Due to that, I don't see them going too deep into the fluff, unless it pertains to specific setting information.

    D&D 5E (2014) PAX PRIME 2014: Acquisitions Inc. - Five Heads are Better than None

    This is the first PAX Live game I've watched, and I enjoyed it. I'll have to go back and check out snippets from the others now. I've been sporadically chuckling for hours over the intro about the Dwarf of Enormous Importants.
