You are correct on both counts and thanks for the catch. The Central Powers have the edge in Transmutation. The Constitutional Amendment banning sorcery was passed in 1920.

help me brainstorm for my new military/horror campaign

Off the top, I'd suggest some Charles Stross. His Atrocity Archives is an excellent read. It's sort of a mash-up of modern espionage thriller with occult horror. Might be a good source to mine ideas from. Fair warning: He does a bit of the moldy, old Lovecraftian "old Gods waking and seeking...

    Online version of the MSRD?

I'm a fan of the D and D wiki - which has the Modern SRD as well easy to navigate - FYI - they do have homebrew stuff in there too - but it's clearly marked as such.

Wizards and Wiseguys for D20 Modern - coming from RPGObjects in July

Length was something I wrestled with on this project. Ideally, I'd like it to be 3 to 5 times as long. But realizing that I was submitting it to electronic publishing market (first to World Forge Magazine and then RPGObjects) it seemed smarted to follow what seems to be the pdf marketing...

Discussion Thread for Wizards and Wiseguys

No, afraid not. We focused mainly on creating a new setting. We do some fiddling with the magic system to fit the setting - we don't tweak the rules much beyond that.

Wizards and Wiseguys for D20 Modern - coming from RPGObjects in July

A World War 2 supplement is well in the future - if it happens at all. So far - I've got a couple supplements sketched out. The first one (that's received the publisher's green light) deals with the Prohibition Era in America, with special attention paid to Chicago (since it was, arguably, the...

Look like we're about 95 percent there. I don't want to step on Chuck's toes - -but I'd say: "soon"

Wizards and Wiseguys for D20 Modern - coming from RPGObjects in July

Currently - our setting material runs from 1908 (the Tunguska event) through the Prohibition era (which -roughly - will end in the late 30s). We do focus a lot of attention on WWI and how magic plays a role in that conflict. I was tempted to cover WW2 - but there were a few things that gave...

Where do I start for running a Pulp d20 adventure?

I've had good experiences with Adamant's Thrilling Tales line. Specifically, I ran the Dragon Island adventure with a small group - and it went pretty well. Here's a link to that For movie pulp inspiration - I'd suggest The Shadow, the first Indiana Jones and the first of the recent The...

Wizards and Wiseguys for D20 Modern - coming from RPGObjects in July

As much as I'd love to see this in print - currently there are no plans for that (Chuck - correct me if I'm wrong). Perhaps if it sells well - we'll talk about that. Or maybe POD is a possibility at some point in the future. That's really a call for the publisher though.
