I say this should go at the top along with the "Links to Races/Classes in this Forum" Very useful....

    Relentless Assault

Flog and Squee, Up the Tree, See the Army, Flee Flee Flee..... Sorry, if anyone ever played Magic:The Gathering they might get that one...... BTW, where is Brutal Hit from and can you break it down....?

    Familiar gaining levels.....

IcyCool.... Where exactly in the DMG is that? I think that is what I will implement, but also, would the familiar continue to gain any/all other benefits (besides the hps, which I had already planned the same change you proposed) as the master levels? Thanks

    Familiar gaining levels.....

My reason for asking this is for a character idea I had in mind, and although I don't know of if or where it is published in 3.5, in T&B it specifically stated familiars could not get levels. You see, I want to have an improved familiar...a Beholderkin, Eyeball to be exact (Monsters of Faerun)...

Is this balanced and give it a better name

Master of Chi Prereq - Ability to turn/rebuke undead, Able to cast three spells with Good descriptor and three spells with Evil descriptor as both divine and arcane. (That seems long winded to me, but it was the only way I could think to word it.) Arcane levels stack with cleric levels when...

    Familiar gaining levels.....

Am I the only one that thinks it is not really unbalancing to allow familiars to gain class levels? Sure, I can understand requiring someone to, say, take Leadership and Improved Familiar before allowing it, but do other people think that overpowers things that much?

Spellless bard - What to give instead?

Some time ago, a friend of mine (who really liked the Bard, but did not want to multi-class in PrC) made a Bard with no spellcasting, but then went through all the Bardic Music abilities gained from PrC, and gave those to the Bard at varying levels as well. To do this you also have to increase...

Optional rule: remove class feature for a feat?

I once had a DM that allowed us to do just what you want (about switching class features for feats). One rule we had though, is you could NOT switch a bonus feat for a feat. The only examples for that off-hand are the Fighter bonus feats and the Wizard bonus feats. The other thing, you could...

    Improving the Warmage flavor

I have been considering customizing the WarMage myself, but I think trying to take it out of its role (that of a magical ahck-and-slash character) might be the wrong idea. I think first, if you are going to include the WarMage, you should automatically link him to a kingdom/organization. This...

By tables I mean for things like random encounters, and stuff like that. For clarification, the other item I am just really bad at making, not that I don't neccessarily like, is maps.....SO....if anyone knows and good, FREE, online resources where I can download unpopulated maps, that would be...

    Scout's Skirmish Attacks

Take one level in monk, then buy a ?Sparring Dummy of the Master? out of Arms and Equipment guide, which lets you take a 10-ft step any time you can take a 5-ft step

RisnDevil here. Been playing since around 1997, started with 1ed, tried 2ed (didn't like, stuck with 1ed), Vampire:The Masquerade (online at White Wolf as well as offline), Werewolf, D20 Modern, Cthulhu, 3.0 and 3.5 I have on and off tried to DM/GM, but I don't like creating charts and tables...

    Some AoO feat suggestions....

Oh, and I think the feats worked as you could use more than one AoO for one instance, meaning moving out of one threated area into another you could use multiple AoOs for that one instance, not all the attacks only cost one AoO....

    Some AoO feat suggestions....

My thought behind the trading AoOs for attacks is, I consider combat VERY dynamic. There is stuff going on ALL the time, and AoO are like you noticing something out of the corner of your eye to take advantage of....but if you trade them in like the mechanic I mentioned, it is like narrowing...

    Some AoO feat suggestions....

I was thinking of building a character based around AoO....to that end, I realized that Combat Reflexes alone wouldn't be enough....So I wash thinking about a feat that gave 2 or 3 extra AoOs a round. What would be reasonable? Two or Three? The prerequisites would of course be like Dex 15+...

    Evasion Feat

Sammael, what do you know/where did you read about the Magelords before? I have never seen anything on them before and would be interested in reading anything else about them. That having been said, I like the PrC. And I don't think that taking one feat that would make it where I do not...

    Evasion Feat

My target audience, is the wizard. You see, I recently purchased Lost Empires of Faerun, and wanted to create a Magelord, but I did not like the idea of having to take levels in Rogue, or some other evasion getting class to become one, even if it means delaying the level at which I could enter...

    Evasion Feat

I was just wondering what everyone thinks would be appropriatte requirements to make Evasion a feat? I just don't think that it is so powerful that it should only be a class ability. I was thinking of course Lightning Reflexes and prolly a +5 base Ref, but I don't know....

    Sense Motive Use

Would it be unreasonable to use sense motive to "sense" the armor class of an object/person? I understand that it is using Sense Motive to try and learn metagame information, but I have an idea for a bow using character who can use Sense Motive to "know" he can hit a target, with possibly a...

    New Ranger Combat Styles

Try this instead Defensive Style 2 Dodge (+1 against all opponents) Improved Dodge (+2 against all opponents) Greater Dodge (+3 against all opponents) Might be a little OVER balanced, but like LazerPointer said, most people house rule Dodge to that anyways. Oh, and the bonuses of course DON'T...
