    Worn/Accessory Arcane Implement?

There are themes that give ki focus proficiency. He is already multiclassing into wizard so he can't take vampirism etc.

    Yes. SATSQ.

    Alignment in D&DN...

Which specific tangible penalties do you have in mind? E.g., under what circumstances would a rogue be penalized for alignment infraction and what form would that penalty take?

    Alignment in D&DN...

Can you break down the difference between "unaligned" and "neutral" in your view?

    Alignment in D&DN...

This is a ridiculous argument. Clearly the failure or success of 4e was not predicated on whether it had 5, 9, 3, or 0 alignments.

Review of Players Option: Heroes of the Elemental Chaos

    Robert J. Schwalb isn't the illustrator, he's the co-designer.

    Alignment in D&DN...

But "Smite Evil," "Protection from Law" and "Detect Chaos" are just as silly.

    Leveling up Monsters

I'm against adding class levels because 4e (and 1e/2e) showed that it works best if monster math is not equal to player character math. Even first level in a character class is already more complex than any non-solo creature and adding character levels as a form of monster advancement just...

    D&D 4E 4E is the Right Direction for 5E

D&D Gamma World is the best game for introducing players to 4e D&D.

    The D&D Logo

They're supposed to be bad. They're not any of them meant to be the D&D Next logo.

    Level Titles

No, there's no reason for these apart from pointless nostalgia. They weren't even useful or sensible in AD&D, so there's no reason to carry them over into D&D Next. Characters shouldn't know what level they are.

    D&D 4E Simple 5e Healing that reconciles pre-4e and post-4e HP styles

This is incorrect. Failed death saves in 4e reset after a short rest.

D&D 5E (2014) The Immortal Bard: 5eing up yer Minstrels

What exactly would a Perform skill do? How would it work in play? What would the results of a failed or successful Perform check be? Would anyone other than a Bard have a use for it? (If not, perhaps it should be a class ability and not a skill per se.)

D&D 5E (2014) The Immortal Bard: 5eing up yer Minstrels

No, I mean, why can he only do this a certain number of times per day?

New WotC Article - Deadly Dice

I dunno about that; there was also Con loss. My 1e wizard died repeatedly; eventually his low Con became an issue.

    Assess the Striker

I had the exact same problems with converts from 3e, early on; one insisted on playing a ranger/sorcerer and the other was a swordmage and then a kalashtar melee ranger with like 14 Strength. I tried to explain to them what was going on and how to play 4e more effectively, but they were hung up...

(My Players Stay Out) Feedback on Solo Monster

Part of the problem with this kind of mechanic is that it gets very meta-gamey and forces players to act in ways which aren't easy to rationalize. Probably you'd get them all falling back and just pelting him with range while the defender keeps him permanently locked in place, since he's burning...

(My Players Stay Out) Feedback on Solo Monster

His damage per round looks pretty low since he doesn't multiattack, even with his combat advantage benefits. Give him a burst 1 attack, also, as otherwise he's really really easy for a defender to lock down. The whole "he can respond to opportunity attacks even when stunned" cheat is a bit too...
