The faerie dragonling and coure attendant (which were based on 1e MM2 faerie dragons and the old coure eladrin respectively) were supposed to be paragon and epic tier familiars, but that was removed for some reason. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not.

My DM used parts of the BSG soundtrack for ambient music during his last campaign. Worked really well and that setting was as far away from Dark Sun as you could get.

Wait, wasn't one of the biggest complaints about 4e was that it was extremely focused on a particular style of play, or did I just dream my past 2 years of Internet usage?

All of the Monsters in the Compendium pre-MM3 use the former statblock format. Apparently, they didn't want to delay the release of the Compendium anymore than they did in July, especially since the MB was going to be fully updated.

I plan on incorporating it into my games like any other new sourcebook. PCs are free to choose material from it and I'll decide which optional rules, if any, I will use from the DM side of the screen.
