Until the last round of the spells duration - then they get to act as they will... Which could lead to an interesting situation. If you kill the Dragon and then your Solars kill you, is that a draw?

Shilsen is correct, I am most certainly thinking of keeping track of the characters HP's in my next campaign. I shall then describe the effects of said damage, to give them some idea (hopefully a good one ) at what state they are in. I am probably going to save the really horrendous damage...

He later did leap from the boat to avoid another such spell and sank like a stone. He was under the effects of a water breathing spell by this point. A Cleric was able to catch up with him and cast a Freedom of Movement spell upon him as he sank, so everything was fine.

This would be the biggest problem, yes :) However, I hope that my 6 years of almost constant Feng Shui GMing would help me in this respect :)
