(Savage Species) So animals get feats and skills now...

I remeber in an old campaign the Riding dog was awakened by some ritualistic spell of some kind... However the DM ruled that it was too unbalanced to allow theis dog, which was now more intelligent than it's rider, to start gaining any character levels  So he was basically stuck as a...

    [EOM] Bard observations

Well, seeing as a Bard is now a type of Mage, he can effectively use any magical item can't he... Magic is no longer divided into arcane and Divine sub groups so I can't see the Bard getting much use out of the skill... The Rogue is another matter completely :)

    [EOM] Bard observations

Hi, I have been putting together a priesthood for a God of Festival and the Bard seemed a perfect starting point for such a priesthood. I do believe that Vermin should be on the creatures list... The Pied Piper of Hamlyn is a pretty archetypal bard isn't he? I like the fact that Bards do not...

    My attempt at Furries...

For my Sundered Skies campaign I have a PC race called Wildlings, basically anthropomorphic animals. I devised a method of creating said characters, but of course I was very interested in Savage Species and its take on Anthros.... So anyway I present here my version of the furries, let me know...

    D&D meets Feng Shui

I agree with Jeph here... It can do anything. I have played several Star Wars Feng Shui games and they seem to capture the flavour better than either the d6 or D20 games... My Feng Shui conversion of Werewolf seems to have been popular as well...

    D&D meets Feng Shui

Go for It! Feng Shui, in my experience, can create some really great fantasy style games - just not in the traditional D&D style. The Feng Shui Archetype system allows players to make up all sorts of great characters that wouldn't fit in the standard 3E game (well, now with Savage Species...

[EOM] Entangle, I have had an idea

This system could also be applied to Evoke Mud and Earth spells as well I guess. It could even be applied to Water and Air spells ... One thing that does occur though is that the mechanic for somebody helping to free you with the Earth or Mud variation on this spell would have to be different...

[EOM] Entangle, I have had an idea

Hi, As some of you might be aware one of the small problems that I have with Elements of Magic is that it is difficult to do an Entangle spell, well I have an idea: Cast a Evoke Biomaterial or Evoke Area Biomatter, the target(s) get a Reflex save to avoid the spell effect. If they fail the...

[Feb] What are you reading now?

No, in Britain Reality Dysfunction, Neutronium Alchemist and Naked God were each released as one book and not split into two. I know this because I read each of them as they were released. There were also hardback releases of NA and NG... I am not sure about RD as I read that in paperback. :)...

    I do / don't like George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice & Fire series

Yeah, sorry about that my ability to use my native tongue must have been malfunctioning this morning :o :) What I meant to say was that, To say that overall I like the series is underestimating my appreciation of the books. Overall, implies that you like it in spite of its flaws. Im my...
