The only real problem I can see with this, is that it would cost 100 exp to cast entangle which seems a liittle steep just to cast a 1st level spell

Well seeing that a Boar can stay active and moving right until the point where they hit -10 hps and drop dead - It really should be Boar's Endurance IMO :) Or how about Berserkers Mantle? EDIT: I have just noticed that a comical misspelling on the thread title implies that adolescent bears...

I used to... But, now my magic system has moved over to Elements of Magic, I use Monster's Handbook and my Sundered Sky campaign has non standard prices for items I don't find myself using any software now :D

I agree with Eric. The tactics section in the Revised Monster Manual is a superb idea.

Maybe, maybe not. I think that there will be a lot of spells that can be cast upon weapons that give them the properties that they need to overcome the DR... Also, The DR has been lowered as well DR 15 seems to be the highest that it now goes.

Completely agree with this, I love the idea! :D The only problem I can see is that it leaves the monsters in third party books a little bit lacking. Maybe a fan based website can/will start up where combat tactics for these OGL creatures can be catalogued?

So your reading of the document is that Alter Reality could be used to replicate spells from the PHB and other spellbooks that can't be replicated using any other spell? Could work, I suppose :)

Boars in D&D can keep going until their Hps reach -10 so it might be based on that creature... Boars tenacity or something?

Hi, I was thinking last night that Enlarge and Reduce could be replicated by using a variation of Polymorph Biomatter.

Yeah I know... In the DVD commentary of CTHD Ang Lee says that the film is a remake of Sense and Sensibility with all the pithy arguments replaced with martial arts fights :D
