    Do YOU nod to "realism"?

This comes back to what is realistic for one person may not be for another. I am perfectly fine with the idea that undead and constructs have weak points which a precision warrior such as the rogue can exploit. Even oozes may have weak areas where they may have over extended or bunched up and...

    DF's "The Slaying Stone" OOC

Banmarden emerged from the Feywild 2 years ago, a bizarre, lost creature uncertin of its way in the world. Taken in by a druidic circle the wilden learned some of the ways of the natural world. Over the course of 18 months Banmarden learned much in the way of harnessing his connection to the...

    Do YOU nod to "realism"?

Ooze, possibly the fighter flexing heats him up, making himself a more inviting target to heat sensing ooze. As for any intellagent creature like a spell caster, the fighter scoring a hit against their Will Defence indicates his ability to overcome their natural instincts and attempt to rush...

    Do YOU nod to "realism"?

Come and Get It can be described fairly realistically: Come and Get it "Rogar, we need the orcs to bunch up so my spell may be most effective" Sindel called out. Rogar nodded and flexed calling out to the creatures in their language "Come at me you runts none of you are worthy of calling...

    Book of Vile Darkness Preview

Compared to the final states of some of the DMG diseases - Mummy Rot, character dies; Cackle Fever, Character is catatonic; Slimy Doom, character dies and becomes a slime. Certainly not something a DM will introduce to the campaign willynilly, but can add a nice sense of urgeny.

    Book of Vile Darkness Preview

I rather like them, lycanthropy is associated with beserk madness, and a character lashing out to those close to him when he gets hurt/hit is nice. I can see the reason they have gone for allies rather than creatures as the target of the cursed character lashing out, the curse needs to be a...

    Rwc 2011

The Quarter- and semi-finals have been plagued with some below par refereeing, unfortunately, which may have changed the outcomes of at least two of the matches. Based on today's match, the All Blacks are going to have to play very poorly next week to lose against France.
