You have clearly never head to barricade yourself into a room in the dungeon overnight then. Or had to block some doors so the enemy couldn't outflank you. Door spikes are awesome.

This is big I think: Monte: In classic D&D, race adds ability mods. We're playing with the idea of class giving ability mods.

MU is nowhere near as wonky as the druid in 2nd ed though - lowext xp total needed for level 12 but then over the next 3 levels everyone but the mage and paladin/ranger hit level 20.

Pity this game won't be going forward, but it was fun going through my 2e books again.
