    CONAN - What's special?

The Mongoose boards have some good "actual play" threads as do the boards at RPG.net. The threads are quite old in both cases but Google is your friend.

    Pirate Cove

Wow, very impressive! I might use it for the same adventure.... ;)

    D&D 4E 4e interview with Scott Rouse

Yes, it's a small amount but don't forget that D&D is relatively small business with relatively small profits. Even collectively, RPGs barely rate as an industry.

    Recommended 1E house rule compliations?

Yes I understand that there is no inherent logic on most things to do with 1E but this one stands out because you could apply your Dex modifier to the saving throw roll which rather implies it is Dex-based.

    D&D 4E Boycott 4e! Andy Collins is a terrorist!

Yes I see the error of my ways now. It's not right to rub a man's nose in such a giant pool of vomit. ;)

    Recommended 1E house rule compliations?

I would also check out the saving throw tables and progressions. Frex, thieves should have the best saves vs breath weapon rather than the worst. Personally, I would also reduce the number of saving throw types to three as per the 3.xE rules.

    D&D 4E Boycott 4e! Andy Collins is a terrorist!

Why call him a terrorist? If you really want to make him cry like a little girl remind him that he was the lead designer of the Epic Level Handbook. Watch him shrink away in shame! ;)

Australia: Cheapest place to pre-order 4th ed books

I doubt you will get cheaper than Amazon but do try Ace Comics on the mall near Burger King as their prices are quite sharp (and certainly better than some of the mail order companies operating in Oz). Online Games Centre at Ashgrove, if they're still in business, are also pretty good with...

    Sewer monsters?

If you have a Libris Mortis, a sewer could be an interesting place for undead with the swarmshifter template. I can just see several swarms of undead flies or rats transforming into a ghoul pack. ;) Full disclosure: one of the leading crimelords in a city in one of my games is a swarmshifter...

OK, thanks for that. It would be nice to see the timeline mentioned in the book, though.

[Margaret Weis Productions] Serenity RPG Bonus Game Content

Not sure where to ask but will the extra material mentioned in the Castlemourn book be available on your site? The book specifically refers to a timeline. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a rather cool campaign. What levels are you guys playing at?

Greyhawk: Welcome to the Age of Worms - or how campaigns can die

I think the composition of your party is the big problem notwithstanding how difficult some parts of Age of Worms can be. The inclusion of the druid in your second party should help greatly. They can fill most roles and the rest of the party can just be there to fill up the numbers.

Complete Dungeons of Dread Photo Gallery

... and they are ugly. I can't believe the bad paint work and bad sculpts. The sets should be getting better and not worse.

Notes from a Savage Worlds fantasy campaign (updated with 05/28/08 session notes!)...

Your use of the mass battles rules for the Allthing was absolutely brilliant. As I read your report, I was imagining how it would play out and was really impressed. Very creative!

Player's Guide to Oathbound - free download

Thanks for posting this. I ran a couple of successful Oathbound campaigns a few years ago and wouldn't mind revisiting them at some point.
