I voted the AD&D option hoping that at least the sentiment got across. I know, I know, the Dragonsfoot crowd would frown on the association, but I see C&C as a mashup of AD&D and D20, heavily favoring the AD&D parent.

I'm interested in hearing more about that damage mechanic. Any helpful links or threads?
