    Ebberon as a Superheroes Campaign

Well, the main reason I'm sticking to D&D instead fo doing something else is I have one of 'those groups'. They are so insular as far as gaming goes that they won't even play non-D&D d20. Not surprisingly, they are also hardcore rules sticklers, which drives me up the wall sometimes. However...

    Ebberon as a Superheroes Campaign

My group already drops the very dumb monk/paladin mulitclassing straightjacket, so at the very least that's no issue. I am thinking about dropping al the multiclass restrictions, but I'm still worried that it may lead to some of the stupid builds you see on the min/max boards (though most of...

    Ebberon as a Superheroes Campaign

Well my logic was to basically take the current rules to D&D and just do a couple of quick tweeks to make it work. The idea was that the heroes were going to start at 5th level, with 32 points for stats. The whole heroing thing is just starting up in Sharn, so most people would be competent...

    Ebberon as a Superheroes Campaign

Not to be inconsiderate or anything, but nobody has any ideas/suggestions/comments on this concept? I guess I must have posted to the wrong forum (would house rules have been better?)

Lg opponent, threatened squares, charge, and AoA

That's what I thought, but they are sure they saw omething in the FAQ about it. Being able to easily negate AoOs for reach basically makes all reach weapons worthless, IMO. The big thing for reach stuff is if you are not flatfooted, you always get the first swing in combat, which sometimes can...

Lg opponent, threatened squares, charge, and AoA

The group I play with seems to think that charging allows you to avoid the AoO's from moving through threatened squares for the the person you are charging. Is that correct? Because from your discussion it does not seem that way.
