I'm excited to see the Tribe 8 rework! Though I never got a chance to play it's piqued my interest since it was first released. Interested to see how it gets fit into the FitD framework.

Cool, thanks! Mecha combat can be tricky; to me it feels like you either have to go full-tactical or embrace a more fluid narrative nature (which in my experience can mimic the wild action and drama that would befit veritech combat), and have players willing to lean into whichever direction...

There is a new RPG put out by Strange Machine Games. Macross: Robotech®: The Macross Saga Roleplaying Game | STRANGE MACHINE GAMES and the Robotech Master's + Invid Invasion: Robotech®: Homefront | STRANGE MACHINE GAMES (I've not played it yet so can't comment much more about it)

Woo! It's moved over to groups.io now, though it gets little activity these days as fans are split across it, Discord, or a FB group. (And I'm sure many are are on all 3, so they choose what's closest to hand at the time. :))

Though it's mainly a tactical game with an RPG supplement rather than an RPG first and foremost, as someone who ran the RenLeg mailing list for years and e-published supplements for it I gotta second the call for Renegade Legion! :)

Ah zut, shame on me for not also suggesting Troubleshooters! Playing it now with my main group group, embracing as much of the Belgian-Franco Tintin influences as possible and it's a great time.

Unfortunately we're in the midst of other campaigns... but if/when we return to our Broken Lands campaign I'm looking forward to cribbing from these Canadiana ideas! :)

Add my main group to the list of groups where this would work well! The other group I game with, on the other hand, has a very different vibe and I'd say works better with the pacing limitation of XP/GM Milestone. :)
