It's very applicable to the purchasing of roleplaying games and discussing where you can get them. I also think this is potentially a big issue that could be swept under the rug by moving it to the publishers forum. PLus I'm not a publisher, but a concerned customer.

Right now, EN World a "news and review site" by their own definition has launched its own e-publishing retailer and forbidden publishers to post links to any other sites that their products can be sold.

Is this a fair practice? Is it good for the members of EN World?

I wondered about that, but Rpgnow publishes a product on e-publishing. So I think that makes Rpgnow a publisher.

I think of it more as posting retail links for customers.

Hmm, I would consider it in poor taste to allow press release but not links to the products. I would also consider it in poor taste to set-up a store and feed reviews into it without permission of the review writer. But maybe that's just me.
