For those that are commenting about the armor my 2 coppers. It is a Forge Cleric. Armor and weapons for this particular Cleric should stand out as being fantastical and noticeably different in some way.

To help with this, has anyone tried playing the Adventures in Middle-earth 5E OGL? Some of the adventures in the first module Wilderland Adventures help showcase this very topic.

I have purchased the PDF and it is fantastic. It is a real boon for Adventures in Middle Earth.

Where does the Adventures in Middle-earth game sit? Is it under D&D 5E or is it under The One Ring?

I ran the glphy keys pretty much as written for home play. I remember once however, that I had the Red Wizard Rebels give a key to pcs for one room. You can determine how many choose. You need to confront before the end location.

Also, the character creation system is fun and easy to do. The random charts were really able to flesh out a character and each character rolled felt very unique.

Is it me or does that look like Simon Pegg Scotty? Also as per the latest playtest, rolling a 1 is a good thing in this game.

I am surprised no one mentioned the Glass Jaw Saving Throws. For any stat that is a dump stat, you are better at the saving throw at low levels than at high levels due to the foes that you face. Even if you have a +2 in a non-proficient saving throw, you are stuck with that +2 for 20 levels...

Adventures in Middle-earth is good fun. It really feels like the novels, and the 5E rules really simulate the world. You can have high-level heroes still be challenged by Orcs. There are a few that think the game is unbalanced, but you can tell they have not played the game. The 5E rules...

Funny a lot of the 5E books reused 4E art. For example on the second page of the 5E Bard Class, it uses artwork from a 4E book on the Fey Wild.

Great Book and some interesting ideas to take from Adventures in Middle Earth to bring to your 5E game. The monster extras abilities and Magic Items are a neat different take.
