Where can I find out more about the New Living Eberron campaign?

Ok, so maybe this isn't quite the place for this, but I've been wondering something for a while now. I'm not in the RPGA, and I'm not all that interested in organized or convention play, which is why I haven't joined. However, I would like to get the Mark of Heroes materials for running my group...

    Games within games?

I remember this module, it was great fun. The best thing about the adventure, IMO, was that it wasn't even really a quest or anything. It was just a description of the game, the tavern, and the people playing. The NPCs had enough personality and quirks that something was bound to happen...

    Political Games (D&D)

One thing I would advise doing is getting more input from your players. There's a lot of different levels and types of political play, which can be broadly defined as "a game with a political theme". Some games will revolve soley around talking with NPCs and trying to complete one's agenda...

    [Future] Mars & Venus, Terraformed...

Don't know how accurate this is, but according to this page you couldn't have standing liquid water on Mars without increasing the atmospheric pressure. I can see how a large gravitational mass could be used to pull atmosphere off a planet, but is there any way to add to it? I assume that is...

    Tongue in Cheek Occult Mysteries

Check out this webcomic (they storyline has just ended, so you'll probably want to start at the beginning)... The Call of Whatever

Looking for some sort of 3D star reference for future game.

The lyrics to this Monty Python song should give you all the data you need! http://www.guntheranderson.com/v/data/galaxyso.htm

    Counters for Free Online?

Way back in the TSR days, there was a pullout game called "Orcwars". Basically, you were orcs, and you went to war. Anyhow, it had punch-out counters which WotC has since scanned and made freely available...

I'm having a gamer identity crisis. Please help.

Well, at the risk of getting analytical, it's probably easier to change the one thing you don't like about this system than to cobble together a bunch of elements from other systems. So, ditch the races-as-classes thing, and import the races from 3e (or whichever edition you prefer). Players...

Affects of Acceleration on D20 Future Characters?

I'm no scientist, and someone else is going to have to come along and actually explain how it works (or correct me), but I'm pretty sure that acceleration G's only apply while in a planet's gravity well. IOW, it's the sort of thing that's going to be a problem while blasting off from the planet...

Where can I get race construction guidelines?

Thanks for the help everyone, I remember ClassCalc and this is the sort of thing I was looking for. Samo, I've sent you a mail from my gmail address, thanks for the offer.

Where can I get race construction guidelines?

I've seen articles out on the net for creating balanced classes, monsters, spells, etc. What I'm looking for are some guidelines as to what would balance out playable races- what feature is worth what, how much a race gets before it crosses into LA territory, etc. Can anyone help me out?

    Web Enhancement for D20 Future

I assume that Cybernet's rules would be open content, did they have any netrunning rules in the book?

    Web Enhancement for D20 Future

No surprises there, I don't think any of the web stuff has been OGL. Still, like Moradin said in another thread, you could always ask them nicely. ;)

    Web Enhancement for D20 Future

The missing VRNet rules, for computers etc, have been posted at the WotC site: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern/article/20040914a

    Bartering System

A basic D&D Gazetteer- The Republic Of Darokin- had rules for this sort of thing, and even a merchant class to do it (though the rules and class don't need to be used together). Essentially, they listed a group of cities and what goods were commonly available in the cities. Goods were rated on a...

Does anyone know a Horror genre RPG Magazine?

Well, I was going to point you to a good online one called Demonground, but the site appears to be inoperable. All I can add, then, is that there've been a number of Call of Cthulhu related zines put out. The now-defunct Unspeakable Oath was probably the best well known. There's a couple of...

New adventures from Wizards - policy reversal!!!

I'm sort of in the same camp with RFisher. I think that, if adventures were tailored to different niches of the market, then they would work out better. WotC's main modules, the Adventure Path, are a good example. Sunless Citadel was very popular, a good leader that mixed dungeon crawl...

    Players with poor vision

I'm in the same boat as PC- I've had a blind player, and we just had to describe everything for her (including dice rolls). She seemed to enjoy herself anyhow. I would imagine that, in both these cases, the person in question has simply become more used to having to picture things in their mind...

    Sun God...with a twist. Ideas?

Building on the "sun god as evil" concept: The campaign world exists in a binary system, and has two suns. The main sun is visible during the day, and is very powerful, leading to the arid, desert climate of the world. Outside of civilization, the days are unsafe- many types of monsters and...

Babylon 5 D20 campaign idea, need input.

This is pretty much what I was going to suggest. Have the PC's relationship with the corp be more "unofficial"- since they're tracking black ops projects and could be indulging in some wetworks themselves, it's pretty logical that they wouldn't be actual company employees. The party's main...
