What Property Do You Still Want to See Get a TTRPG Adaptation

some that could be interesting, but not that I necessarily would want. Shannara series (though, only limited to the maximum of High Druid of Shannara Trilogy, though even then it started to lose it's luster. More like the original three books, First King and Heritage and that's it)...

    Alien: Earth

I think most people forgot about it, TBH. I don't think we've ever seen an entire world in the process of being devoured (okay, Tyranid reference, but Aliens are sort of like Tyranids if you think about it). We saw the aftermath of a colony in Aliens, but it could be interesting to see the...

    Alien: Earth

2120 may be misleading. It could be a lead up to the events of Alien and Aliens...or...it could be a switcheroo and we finally get to see the aftermath of Alien Ressurrection.

    We’re On BlueSky

For those of us not so up to date, explain to me what Bluesky is and what it entails. I think it is something like Twitter (the guy who originally did twitter, started blue sky or something). Some things indicate it's a gathering of things such as mastadon, but not as centralized as twitter...

Why a rapier is bad for an adventurer

Bows were awesome in AD&D. Bow specialists who had 4 shots in a round were even more awesome. A hasted bow specialist with Flaming Arrows or other special arrows (arrow of Death anyone?) with 8 attacks per round were even more awesome. They tended to get old fast though.

    Willow?

I have the hardcopy of the Willow Sourcebook. Haven't looked at it in a while. I believe Mad Martigan was a level 12 fighter or something. It was odd as it used AD&D stats, but wasn't an AD&D book. There was also a Willow RPG box, not sure if the sourcebook came from the RPG box or not. I...

Trailer Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* | D23 Brazil Special Look

Texas is 12 - 15 hours. California North to South is 10-12 hours. Heck, just going from Utah to California (next door neighbors) is 8-10 hours, and going from SLC to San Francisco is 12. Nevada can take 8-10 hours north to south (and there's nothing there, it's all just...empty. The...

Trailer Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* | D23 Brazil Special Look

Try driving from the South End of Florida to the West end of the Panhandle. That will take a bit of a drive. Or drive through Texas. That drive always seems longer than the Drive through California to be honest, even if it's somewhat similar. All the states in the West are huge/massive...

Star Trek Adventures' New Edition Has A Starter Set!

Perhaps, but those companies which have had sets which have had character creation have done better overall with their RPG sales than those that have not. Granted, it may just be that they are bigger players, or their appeal in general is better, but a prime example of Paizo and their Beginner...

Star Trek Adventures' New Edition Has A Starter Set!

The original Star Trek had quite a few of those 1v1 battles. Just off the top of my head there was the Doomsday Machine, the Ultimate Computer, the Volian Web, the Balance of Terror, that one with the alien that looked like a Kid (can't recall the name), and others which had the threat of...

Star Trek Adventures' New Edition Has A Starter Set!

I really dislike the trend companies have these past few years of merely putting out a starter set with pregenerated characters. Sure, it gives you a taste of the game, but really doesn't let you sample it. By that I mean, you really can't sample a game until you have the power to create your...

Someone Planted an Annoyatron in My Office and I Just Found It. What Next?

In a corner, under the carpet, tucked under the baseboard or right next to it, behind a cabinet. A second one, in the actual light fixture (not just in the light, the fixture itself).

When Do the 5E “Ride or Die” Folks Become Grogs Like The Rest of Us in “D&D Older Editions” And When Do We Get D&D 5E Flair for Posts?

I haven't been in the conversation, so this wasn't directed at me. I do not really prefer the direction they have taken with race in D&D recently. It's probably because I see the differences in "race" more like a thing between species, or even more, like genus (if we go through other 'races'...

AD&D 2E Did The Complete Fighter's Handbook kill "Zero to Hero"?

Ah, yes, you are right. I had two things that messed me up on that call. In 1e, specialists get more attacks at higher levels for using a Bow. They also get this in 2e, but it didn't come about in the PHB. (I can't find it in the Complete Fighter, either, so I'm unsure of exactly when it...

AD&D 2E Did The Complete Fighter's Handbook kill "Zero to Hero"?

I'd have to go back and look, (and maybe it's only 1e), but I could have sworn they got 2 attacks at levels 1-6, 3 attacks at levels 7-12, and 4 attacks at levels 13+ in AD&D for bow specialization. (2 attacks was the default, but the increase at level 6 was only for those who specialized in...

AD&D 2E Did The Complete Fighter's Handbook kill "Zero to Hero"?

To a Point. In B/X there were very short rules on what to do after they reached the maximum level listed in the books. One of those items dealt with Fighters. I don't have it in front of me this instant, but I believe it stated that after level 15, fighters got one additional attack every 5...

Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd Cover, Synopsis Revealed

I was just hypothesizing how to toss Dragonborn or something like them into the setting period (not that they would be available for player usage or not...just trying to figure how they could have a horror type Dragonborn race in there that could reflect the true horror of the setting). These...

Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd Cover, Synopsis Revealed

The most fitting type of dragon born would be with a Dracolich. Make them more a living horror as Dracolich Spawn or something where they are basically the living skeletons of Dragonborn, empowered with magic and tortured by an eternity of hunger, a hunger they cannot sate (because they have no...

Trailer Skeleton Crew | Official Trailer | Disney+

If you make a TV show where you make it so only those who are fans can understand what's going on, that's a key to failure. It doesn't matter if it's in an established universe or not, you still have to do the world building because you cannot just simply expect every veiwer to know the world...

Trailer Skeleton Crew | Official Trailer | Disney+

You know, if this wasn't Star Wars or Star Wars themed, I might actually be really excited for this. But, knowing it's supposed to be a Star Wars universe film...it just doesn't jive with me in the right way. Which is dumb and stupid, I know...but...there it is. I think that if it were not...
