I don't think that's Cure Wounds' fault- I think Healing Word is too powerful given 5e14/24 RAW. A5E fixes this a bit since dropping to 0 gives a level of fatigue, but I still think that if Healing Word has to stick around, it should be a touch spell.

Agreed, but throwing in "oh and also getting people back their money" as a bad thing was what I was questioning. It's not even debt as we consider it, really, since kickstarter is technically not a preorder service (though we certainly treat it like one).

I should note that while DCC heavily recommends trying the funnel method, I have had mixed experiences with it. If you're showing the game off to players for the first time, I'd recommend doing a one shot with some level 2 pregens.

Keeping track of and cancelling them is the pain. It's easy to sign up, easy to lose track of, and can be a bit of a pain to cancel. The smartest thing I do is cancel something as soon as I sign up for the month... But I'm not always smart.

I have trouble with spending, which of course means that I'll pick up subscriptions that I'll later lose track of. Subscriptions really are the bane of folk like myself. I paid 15/mo for Elder Scrolls Online for 2yrs, played it for maybe 4 hours over 3 sessions.
