    I Hate Bards

Oh, if its a teleport, he's totally wrong then. To teleport someone, you have to be able to see their origin and destination. Since he didn't have line of sight, no teleport.

    I Hate Bards

First the Bard didn't have LoE to the PC, so it shouldn't have worked. In addition being in the stomach should be equivalent to restrained, which forced movement effects don't help. To the second, yeah the bard is invisible, but he's still grabbed. Unless the invis is an immediate interrupt...

    I'm confused about "creature type"

Creatures have a type and an origin. Origin describes where a monster comes from, be it Elemental (Elemental Chaos), Fey (Feywild), Immortal (Astral Sea), etc. Type describes its basic appearance and behavior. So zombies should be animate, because that describes something "magically given...

    Looking for a Campaign/Adveture path

This would be my suggestion as well. I've only gone through the middle bit (what was originally the banewarrens), but what I saw was pretty good.

    Stealth, Perception and blindness

By the rules, yes. (unless I've missed something) That kind of thing is typically binary. That said, if the player comes close but doesn't succeed on the perception check, which would mean that he missed because of his blindness, then you might at your discretion let him make an insight check...

D&D 4E Tomb of Horrors (4E version) - anyone run this yet?

My general impression of the superadventure is that it is more trapped based than most other adventures, but still has a decent mix of other forms of encounters (though I also think it has way too many solos). That said, the original ToH was pretty much entirely traps, many of which that were...

    Essentials missing simple casters

    Sorcerers are pretty simple.

D&D 4E In D&D 4e, is there any ability by Enemies that will silence a caster?

One of the more interesting approach to the "how to make life tough for the casters" that I've seen was the Skeletal Arcane Guardian For those without DDi, the creature has an immediate reaction to shift 8 and make 2 attacks whenever someone uses an Arcane power. It doesn't stop a character...

How do you beef up AC to Eladrin Wizard?

My Eladrin Wizard has been the second line tank for most of his 20 levels. Staff wizard is a good choice if defenses are your priority. A defensive staff (level 2 item) works well, and remember that you can dual wield staffs for casting. Beyond that, the wizard can get a bunch of additional...

Line of Sight & Line of Effect, tied at the hip or not?

No, you don't have to make an attack roll with MM currently. There are several wizard powers that unerringly target opponents.

Line of Sight & Line of Effect, tied at the hip or not?

The MM listed in the PH is errated.

-10 to perception checks and -5 to attacks. Two separate things.

    Grabbed question

Being prone does not affect your reach, so knocking the roper prone doesn't help escape. As to the escaping the grab question, you don't save against the grab, you have to escape from it (See escaping a grab), or damage the tentacle. With the compendium ropers, there's no "glued" condition.

    No. But hilarious.

    Magic Missile while blinded

Because you don't. You have to be able to perceive your target. Smell, hear, etc. all give you the ability to perceive a target. Now, because the target has total concealment, it can on its turn attempt a stealth check to hide. If the target were to do so, then the blind attacker needs to...

Against the Cult of the Reptile Gods -- FREE?

The user agreement says its for a single person only. terms of use are here The license is non-transferable. All that said, its much more likely that WotC just cares about widespread sharing than a group sharing a single account. As long as you stay within the 5 per month update rule, they...

How do you handle players who arrive late and players who leave early?

Exactly. It's like in TV shows where some characters aren't on screen that week. No one feels the need to point out that Londo isn't around, because he is around, just not doing anything interesting enough for the camera to focus on.
