DMs: What Powers Do PCs Get That You Hate?

Many cleric powers but the worst one are: Sealing Deaths Door Moment of Peace (it's effective even on a miss) and this totally hoses melee encounters when everyone is in close quarters.

What will Masterplan be after the C&D?

That occured to me too. Maybe they are just being cheeky. But if they are, I imagine it would piss a lot of people off.

Will Constant Errata Kill the Essential Line?

Absolutely! The PH contains most of the 4e rules and it comprises a very small amount of the book. Most of it is character options - powers, feats, class features and rituals. With the latest batch of errata they essentially tightened up the rules, which for the most part, they ignored in the...

What will Masterplan be after the C&D?

Something weird is definately going on. I was introduced to the program at version 8.4. Like others wondering, is this announcement the precursor to something good or something bad. My guess, is that with the quick change of heart, it must be a C&D. The thing that makes this unique is that...

Will Constant Errata Kill the Essential Line?

Did video kill the radio star? No, and I think that applies here to errata killing the Essentials Line - besides, they stated in the last errata that we can expect a decrease in errata in the coming months which seems to coincide with the Essentials Line release.

And will debut in Monster Manual 3 IIRC.

    May Rules Update

Thank you sir! That certainly does have a major impact for some creatures. The one downside to this is that player created zones now stack and from my experience players don't need this boost in damage. In our epic group, every PC is capable of creating a zone that increases damage. That is...

    May Rules Update

As much as I like the new updates, it feels like the updates were not thorough. For example, changes to auras in the Monster Manual were not changed in the MM2. Going to the compendium still gives the def from the MM2 - which now do not match. Edit: Nevermind, it looks like it does now. Wierd.

    Sanity Checking some Monster Damages

I asked this in the May update thread and haven't got an answer yet. Are they saying that aura (& zone for that matter) damage now stacks but that penalties (to defenses/to hits or othewise) don't stack. Can someone confirm if this is correct? Thanks.

    May Rules Update

Auras & Zones Tell me if this is correct. Aura and zone damages stack, but penatlies (such as to hit) do not and you only take the worst penatly.

    Large creatures attack

A couple of quick thoughts: Devour should only work on one person at a time. The Behir CAN attack around an intervening ally to attack you although you are considered to have cover so it suffers a -2 to attack. Why? The attacker can choose to draw a line from any 1 square that it occupies...

Can an immediate interrupt stop movement?

Well, underneath readied action they suggest to ready an action based on movement so that you have the option of going before the creature attacks. This is based on individual sqaures of movement.

Can an immediate interrupt stop movement?

When it comes to movement, I thought that if a square was deemed not legal to move into you moved back to the last legal square and chose a new square. Thus, if someone used an immediate interrupt, to move into a square you wanted to move into, you would just get to choose a new square.

    D&D Mini Jackpot!

You can take the base off, so yeah, you can put other minis inside. Our wizard uses it all the time for his Entimb (4e) spell. :D

Bloodied while dying + Consecrated Ground

Yes, you are considered bloodied while unconscious, so yes you would get the beneifts of Consecrated Ground. The best source that I have seen is a tweet on Twiitter, I believe by WotC_Trevor, who stated that the tweet was the official answer. I don't have the link. Perhaps some kind soul...

Moving into square occupied by invisible & hidden creature

Rules are pretty clear - you can't enter a space that an enemy occupies. Invisible matters not. If a player tries to enter the sqaure, the DM says that he can't and has to choose a different path (square). Most players, other than newbies, will figure out this means an invisible enemy. The...
