I would say it is their problem, not yours. In fact, it is the challenge all the streamers face: to provide enough engaging content (at an acceptable price) to attract and retain subscribers. I do not feel bad at all dropping a service once I have watched everything I want to.

I agree it does a poor job setting out the premise. But it's a teaser, meant to intrigue you, and it certainly gives a tone of tension and escalation, with a dash of existential doom.

From what I have heard, it's a scenario where a lone missile is detected, but it is unclear who fired it/where it came from, and how the US responds to it. Sagan's comments underscore the shortsightedness of potentially destroying the only home we have.

I skipped 4e too, and never owned the books. I do sometimes find monster illustrations in DM's Guild products that look unfamiliar to me, but I like the look of them. Poking around online for the source and/or artist I often find that the picture is from a 4e product.

One does not need to introduce such a magic item to have a problem. Say the player of a Fighter 5/Thief 8 "pre-bard" gets enough XP for 9th level Thief and decides they like being a Thief? Or can't find the hidden sect of Druids to train them?

This modular approach could also lend itself to a screen or tablet very well. Drag and drop components into the base PC "sheet" and they snap into place. :unsure:

Unearthed Arcana was a mixed bag for us. The new weapons, armor, magic items, and spells were largely well-received, but the new races and new classes were largely seen as overpowered. Additionally, Cavaliers and Barbarians had personality/role-play decisions baked into the classes (bad form!)...
