    Best John Williams themes! Go!

John Williams wrote the scores for the first three Harry Potter films which established most of the major themes. Patrick Doyle scored the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which utilized some of William's themes. Nicholas Hopper scored the next two films and Alexandre Desplat...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Yes, I'm not saying the Sith are 100% honest or the Jedi are 100% dishonest. Critical truths are revealed or hidden at certain points of the story, to serve the purposes of the Sith or the Jedi.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Oh yes! Not disputing your point. It's another example of mistakes made, and highlights (and foreshadows) how Sol's perception was clouded and could not tell Mae from Osha.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Technically it was Mae she was affecting; Sol just thought it was Osha. Osha was locked in her room at this point.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Something about the Star Wars films I noted to friends a long time ago: the Jedi use lies, and the Sith use truth. Obi-Wan (and Yoda to a lesser degree) lies to Luke about who his father was and who Darth Vader is. Vader tells Luke the truth. In Attack of the Clones, Count Dooku tells Obi-Wan...

One of the kids knew him though, calling him by name.

Trailer Deadpool & Wolverine | Final Trailer

Yes. I also love the 20th Century Fox logo in the end of time debris. I have told friends that watching Loki season 1 before seeing Deadpool & Wolverine might be informative with respect to the TVA.

What Is A Sith/Sith Post RoS?

It is implied that Ahsoka is dead at the end of Rise of Skywalker. Her voice is among the voices of dead Jedi that Rey hears at the climactic scene.

    Space: 1999 Coming From Modiphius

I liked the show when I was a kid. It has not aged well. That being I said, I still love the look of the Eagles and their versatility. Gerry Anderson made lots of shows with great miniatures, but the Eagles are my favorite.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I think the Ahsoka novel is the first place this concept of cleansing and bleeding khyber crystals appears? That was 2016 according to the Google.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

If khyber crystals bleed, then the Death Star's lasers should be red instead of green after the destruction of Jedha City.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Because this (bad, IMO) idea of bleeding khyber crystals only came about in the last couple years. Edited to add: And Anakin's saber should have changed when he killed the younglings.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Agreed. Throughout the original trilogy, they are fighting and sacrificing to restore the Republic. It's presented as a noble goal, very aspirational. Remember that the full name of the Rebel Alliance is the Alliance to Restore the Republic. If people's lives under the Republic are always just...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

AFAIK there is no official Star Wars wiki. And even official sources have been known to make mistakes... from time to time.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

The lurker in the cave was not Koril unless her Zabrak appearance 16 years ago was some sort of illusion or disguise. The lurker looks like a Muun, so very likely Darth Plagueis. This gives Plagueis access to the story of Osha and Mae and the idea of their creation, and with Osha training with...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I think I would like this too. The problem comes in that antagonists need to be pretty much classic black hat for the classic white hat schtick to work, and those types of opponents are not very interesting to watch week in and week out, IMO.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Aristotle said the resolution of a good drama should be "unexpected but inevitable." I can imagine a number of possible endings, but I am unsure which of them (or, more likely, which combination of elements from them) will be canon after tomorrow's episode.

House of the Dragon spoiler thread

The holes are not very consequential in relation to the full surface area of her wings. Bats can fly with small tears in their wings. The feathered wings of birds are not technically "solid" but the gaps are small enough to not matter.

D&D 5E (2014) Spells, Targetting, and Glass Windows

There is a Sage Advice about this: https://www.sageadvice.eu/is-a-glass-window-considered-a-total-cover/ I know Sage Advice is not always the best advice, but I thought I would put it out there.
