I'd say that bickering spellcasters can't cast spells. When (and if) they start fighting, though, they'll be able to cast spells, to take their opponent(s) out. As for the fighting... hmm... that could lead to complicated stuff... Maybe everyone is arguing in pairs, ie creature A is arguing...

i have not heard of a precedent, but if one of my players asked me such a thing, i certainly wouldn't play it "you wake up next morning and your rat now has an aureola"... I'd probably set up some sort of quest, not so much diffrent from a paladin's mount quest, to explain the sudden...

I've always assumed that the javelin section was javelin-deep, and the bow section was bow-deep... so if you want to retrieve an arrow from the javelin section, you'll have to stick your arm in the quiver just to get to the arrows... Maitre D

The bard is somewhat of a healer class, and he is not a cleric (although his primary function is not to heal, he's still a "support class")... I have to admit that i was a little baffled when i saw that the bard could cast healing spells... The druid is a "nature cleric", and he can heal...

I kinda feel i have to justify myself... It could look like i'm somewhat of a powergamer/munchkin (its kind of the way I feel after some of the remarks i got in this thread), because of the character i'm building. Maybe that's the way I like to play. Maybe its because the campaign i'll be...
