In my experience, there are no disadvantages in XP's support of games. If any program written for Win9x/ME has trouble in XP, it can be run in "Compatability Mode," which is MS slang for the fact that there is a Win9x/ME and a WinNT emulator. I have never had any problems with Compatibility Mode...

how was the news script a dismal faliure? It seemed to be working well. In fact, I use a similar process on a website I've done. The news on the front page is populated by posts in a news forum on the boards.
