I keep all of my NPC stats, the PC stats, the adventure outline and details, maps, creature stats, etc on the laptop. Essentially, almost everything is on the laptop. I let the players use the books at the table, but I reference rules from my copy of CMG's SRD Bundle

They need to make money like anyone else. I'm certain that Hasbro has a large part of their resources dedicated to compiling and analyzing market data. How would they know what games to make and sell if they don't know who is interested in what?
You don't need a cookie to track HTTP Referrer hits on an image. If the images are hosted at hasbro, then they can easily find out where the requests are coming from, no need for cookies, just basic HTTP.
When my NPCs are lying, etc. (using Bluff), I roll Sense Motive for the PCs and the NPC's Bluff behind my screen.
When the players ask to use Sense Motive, I let them roll and I roll the NPC's Bluff check behind my screen (even if they're not lying I roll anyway).

I use Firefox on Win2k at work, and WinXP and Linux at home.
I've been using Mozilla since the 1.0 release and have never had trouble with the site due to browser issues.
