I've never had any problems with Firefox. If EN World ever had trouble loading, I wait a few minutes and try again. It's generally due to traffic overload.

the Gestalt classes variant in Unearthed Arcana works well in this situation. You, the DM, run one NPC and have your wife, the player run a PC, each with gestalt characters. Or, you can just let her start at level 2 (maybe multiclassed) and have an NPC also at level 2 (maybe multiclassed) run...

So if you don't meet the threshold in the first turn, your roll is added to your roll for the next turn?

The issues where Hank supposedly dies haven't come out yet. This is a bit of a spoiler. And no, Gambit hasn't made any more appearances, but that doesn't mean he can't. That's up to the creative team on the book.

traps, lots of traps. The body itself will have defenses for foreign bodies touching areas they're not supposed to or going through "doors" the wrong way--most valves, etc. only allow flow in one direction, that's a great thing to play off of.

That's something I liked about Treepad. It's a very small program in spite of all it's features.

I have the original AEON book and never bought the Trinity book. Were there any changes between those editions?

what role do critical hits play in this variant? Do they do automatic Wound damage like the regular WP/VP rules, or do they do x2/x3/etc. like the regular HP/MDT rules? For the record, I am intrigued by this and might try it in a session or two to see how it works.

I like the comparison of NPC class - PC class. It's a very useful exercise in my opinion. Keep 'em coming.
