    Cure Light Wounds: Nearly Useless?

Yep. He's quoting the text for Bastion of Health. The advantage of that one is that it's fairly long range for a low-level healing power, and it's an encounter power. The advantage of Cure Light Wounds is that it doesn't expend a healing surge.

Ranger - Twin Strike kick to the groin?

Wielding is not the same as holding. Wielding a weapon, in 4E terms, is attacking with it. Thus, you can wield an unarmed strike. You cannot, however, hold an unarmed strike in your hand.

Ranger - Twin Strike kick to the groin?

Incorrect, and, again, already covered in the thread. The power requires you to wield two melee weapons. The feat requires you to hold two melee weapons. The feat thus cannot be used unarmed, and cannot be used with a shield as an improvised weapon because it is a 2h improvised weapon. Let's...

Ranger - Twin Strike kick to the groin?

For the power? Yes. That's not a problem because it's decidedly weak. You'd do more damage with the sword with a basic attack. For the two-weapon fighting feats? No, because they require you to be holding a weapon in each hand.

Ranger - Twin Strike kick to the groin?

Already covered. Shields and greatswords are too heavy to qualify for a 1 handed improvised weapon.

Ah. You're talking about the tripmonkey spiked chain crusader. Outside of that single archetype, Thicket of Blades isn't all that good at dissuading enemies from attacking your allies.

    Redclaws Protectors OOC

Shifts normally don't provoke OAs, regardless of their source. They're the 4E version of the 5 foot step, except you can go more than 5 feet at a time with them in a lot of cases.

Who wouldnt take toughness and the +2 DEF feats?

I have. In two different sessions, actually.

Who wouldnt take toughness and the +2 DEF feats?

And none of them stack with Combat Anticipation, which does seem like a "who wouldn't take it" feat.

Who wouldnt take toughness and the +2 DEF feats?

Toughness is actually worse than Durable in a lot of situations (and is WAY worse than Dwarven Durability), and the +2 defense feats aren't necessarily as important to ranged classes.

    OA Confusion

No. Only attacks with the Ranged or Area keyword trigger OAs, unless you have a feat or power that says otherwise.

    Invisibility duration?

Yeah, the Wizard Invisibility spells are the weakest form of invis in the game. I don't see a problem with having them be the longest-lasting.

    PHB pg55:

    Zombie and Skeleton Minion Madness!

Yes. There are two factors to XP value: creature level and creature type. Minions are worth 1/4 XP, elites are worth double XP, and solos are worth quintuple XP, all as compared to the "average" for their level. There's a chart in the DMG.

    Teleporting in the Feywild

Not always, no - but it has been so since WotC took over. The exact same thing was true in 3E.

    Redclaw's Young Rebels OOC

There are two. OpenOffice can read and edit any Microsoft Office format. Also, Microsoft provides a free ExcelViewer that can read (but not edit) Excel files.

    Teleporting in the Feywild

Note that the PHB specifically says that the flavor text has no game meaning at all and that players should feel free to redefine it as much as they want. Drawing conclusions or basing rulings from the flavor text is thus utterly pointless.

Why Shouldn't I Ban "Come and Get It"?

Note also that it's entirely possible that some enemies won't be affected by the attack. How? Only enemies that can end adjacent to the fighter move. The DM decides what order enemies move in. He's entirely justified to have all the minions/soldiers/brutes charge in first and leave no room for...

    more bo9s ToB questions

How? They have two entirely different functions. When you're in Thicket of Blades, enemies are free to attack anyone they want without penalty. When you're in Iron Guard's Glare, enemies are free to 5' step and Withdraw without penalty.

    Fighter Vs Paladin

Scale is the better armor, IMO. No need to go to plate. How is the Paladin mark "vastly stronger"? Because it does damage? So does the Fighter's, thanks to the second paragraph of Combat Challenge. The paladin also has a drawback with his; the fighter's is free and clear. I'd call Combat...
