    Who's the Biggest RPG Company?

No one really knows the answer to this question because game companies are privately held and rarely make their numbers public. Those that do may exaggerate for PR purposes. WotC is obviously the big dog. For many years Palladium was number 2 but it's hard to say how they are faring after their...

    New GSL Announcement

Well, it makes sense. GTS is the only real trade show for the game industry. We are debuting our 2008 catalog there. We waited until the very last minute to print it in case some news should break that would allow us to include potential 4E products or at least news of same in the catalog. No...

    New GSL Announcement

Well, that's the question, isn't it? I've asked Scott to clarify. If Linae wants to jump here though, I'd love to know. If we must choose to support the OGL or the GSL as a company, that will drastically affect our strategy.

GSL questions for Scott Rouse and Mike Lescault

    That would be...interesting.

    New GSL Announcement

For the record 4E and the GSL will have no impact on Mutants & Masterminds. It's its own game and it will continue as such.

Who has paid the $5000 (what companies)?

That'd be nice, but no; no one has it. GAMA Trade Show is next week and we have nothing to tell retailers and distributors about potential 4E product.

[Green Ronin] True20 Trademark License Details Released

It would depend on what a company was looking to do and whether or not it conflicted with a preexisting deal or not.

[Green Ronin] True20 Trademark License Details Released

A few months ago we announced that Green Ronin would be changing the way that licensing True20 Adventure Roleplaying worked. Instead of paying a fee, publishers can take advantage of a royalty free license starting in May. Today we have released the details and full text of the True20 Adventure...

Chris Pramas' blog from 3/25: Husker Dungeons

Yeah, it's not "near finished" though. It's just a bunch of notes and ideas right now. To make a game would take serious work and that's the issue.

    Pramas on the OGL

Yes, it's because I hate d20's popularity so much that I've published books for it for the past 8 years. I just don't know when to stop beating myself up!

    Pramas: D&D his way??

Yep, another 3.5 variant would be pretty pointless. If you think that's what I'm talking about, all I can say is you don't know me very well. :)

    Good Freeport/Savage Tide characters?

You may want to take a look at the d20 Freeport Companion, the 3.5 rules sourcebook for Freeport. It's got several alternate core classes, including the corsair, assassin, monster hunter, noble, and survivor, as well as prestige classes like musketeer, witch hunter, and sea dog. Lots of...

WotC: Goodbye, Loren Greenwood, hello Greg Leeds

The pictures a bit out of date, but you get the idea. This is from one of our yearly GR Summits, which we do because our staff is spread out across the country. http://greenronin.com/about.php

Pathfinder 1E Is a Paizo/Green Ronin Merger Viable?

Erik and I are old friends. He has worked for me (Armies of the Abyss and first edition Mutants & Masterminds) and I have worked for him (V for Victory RPG in Polyhedron and various Dragon articles). I'm sure we could get along. We'd need a better reason to merge than "it'd be cool" though. :)
