Good thing my group is waiting to switch to 4E until we finish our current 3E campaign. Hopefully by the time we switch we'll have a more complete set of monsters.

I know he had to distinguish between regular "print" books and the DDI material, but man, I think the word "analog" has become my new LEAST-FAVORITE word.

This could also be WOTC's way of protecting themselves in case Gen Con shuts down at the last minute and doesn't have the convention...and doesn't refund any money already paid due to the Bankruptcy.

I'm really puzzled by the vast shift in tone/style on the Wizards site. It all began with Gleemax and is supposed to be such a big part of 4th edition, but who is this appealing too? What market research led to this? I've been playing D&D for over 20 years, and none of this appeals to me. I'm...

My one big complaint with WOTC has always been, and remains, their apparent lack of marketing. A new edition is always a chance to bring in NEW players, but the word has to get out. They continue to "preach to the choir" as it were, and honestly, they're not doing a fantastic job of that...

I'm probably wrong, but I thought Le Rouse had said that they wouldn't start until the game actually launched in June. In reality, their marketing really began at GenCon, whether they wanted it to or not.

I'm afraid to say that some of those minis don't look all that great. Seems like the sculpts and paint jobs took a step backwards. Some look pretty good, but most of them...blah.
