Oh right. Does OA have a system of Martial Arts styles like the 1e OA had? I guess it could be done with a series of PrCs.

I'm wondering, is there any differences between the monks presented in Oriental Adventures compared to the PHB? If so, are they stronger/weaker? Also, was the translation of L5R to d20 a good one? did most of the coolness of the system survive intact? comparing it to say Deadlands...which lost...

And there was the Shike series by Robert Shea that began with Time of the Dragons . I read it when I was much younger but really have fond memories of it.

Yeah. It bloody annoyed me then, and it still does now. the scouring is one of the core pieces of LOTR imo. Plus, the change alluded to in the photograph noted about pretty much means my fave piece of TTT will be butchered.

That is plainly untrue. The film rights to LoTR & The Hobbit were sold long ago. Tolkien Enterprises has held the rights for games, films and other bits for YEARS. Thats how the Bakshi film came about and the ICE RPG. The Estate had no involvement in the film, and was unwilling to even comment...

Well, I LOVED the extended version...every single change improved the film in my eyes. The theatrical cut is definitely banished. The main things it fixed in my eyes was Gimli and the pacing of the second half of the film, which bugged me as it felt like it lurched of action sequence to action...

Well, I did use a Faerie Dragon in my SL game. It stemmed from our groups foray into Rappan Athuk. Have they been officially stated in any book yet? Generally though, I dont use alot of Dragons. They generally are major events in the game rather than just a cool much tougher villain to face...
