    Zombie ideas

I recently ran a zombie based, short term campaign, using Blood and Brains by RPGObjects. It has a lot of zombie variants and costs about $7. I recommend it.

Feat conversion to Buy The Numbers

I think just buying the proficiency with armor and taking the feat would suffice. That would be a simple solution, and I always favor those. My problem is trying to convert the EoM:R magic system itself to Buy the Numbers.

Can someone point me to the right site?

My humblest apologies, oh Great One! I shall do so.

Can someone point me to the right site?

I recall an article, on a website somewhere, that presented what it referred to as half-human orcs and half-orc humans. Unfortunately, the computer I had the web page bookmarked on is no more. Could anyone tell me where this is. It was some time ago, and I don't remember.

    Non-gaming Gamers

I haven't gamed with an actual group since high school. I can't get more than one or two people together at once. I work a combination of 2nd and 3rd shifts, each week the days change. All the other gamers I know work varied and completely conflicting shifts. Right now I have one friend I...

A Very Abstract Question (0 level spell vs. feat)

Sounds resonable to me. Have you looked at spell touched feats from Unearthed Arcana?

Published Modules.. I've ran 3 my entire life

I have have been DMing for about 9 years and have never run a mod. My players are very freeform and creative. The mods just seem far too restrictive. I own a couple from 2e and used some ideas from them, but that's it.

    EoM:R with Buy the Numbers

Has anyone tried to fit Elements of Magic spellcasting into the Buy the Numbers system? I've been trying to figure this out. There are members of my gaming group that want to try both systems next campaign, and I haven't got it. I apologise if this is the wrong place to post, I...

Good stuff! I already planned on buying Lyceian Arcana, but it just keeps looking better!

    selling loot vs. created items

This is handled IMC by the PCs interacting with other adventurers. The PCs find a guild, or established adventuring band, or even rivals they've met that might want the items. If there aren't any that want it, and the players really insist on getting rid of the gear, I throw in old wizards...

Does anyone else think D&D 4th edition should be more like 2nd edition

More like 2nd edition!?! By all the gods, man NO! Now I'm going to go read my PHB again, and pretend this wasn't even mentioned. *shivers*

    D&D 3.x 3.5 Called Shots - Hows it work?

I just got Torn Asunder from Bastion Press the other day. It covers called shots and criticals quite well. I'm kind of reminded of the 2e Combat & Tactics book, only balanced. It helps keep called shots from being too good by stating that you have to focus and provoke an AoO, and it's an...

Have you bought any books because they won an ENnie?

I pay more attention to the nominees and winners. Torn Asunder initially reminded me too much of 2nd edition AD&D, until it was nominated and I looked at the reviews. I am now eagerly awaiting its arrival in the mail.

Any news on the progress of this project? It was mentioned that the main rules should be done by the end of the month.

Great to see it in PDF! It would be good to see more PDF's; Torn Asunder, for example.

What are the 10 best d20/D&D companies out there?

I use and like these: Malhavoc Press E.N. Publishing WotC Chainmail Bikini Green Ronin Pretty much in that order. Monte Cook is one of the best and most consistent designers ever. I have several E.N. Publishing titles, and Elements of Magic Revised was a great innovation!

What Arsenal books do -YOU- want to see?

Add another vote for daggers, a very underused weapon. The staff is also an underused weapon that is really cool. I will definately be getting the spear book. I guess I just want more on the simple weapons category. :)

    Shopping for Magic Items

In my games the PCs almost always commission items they want. They normally handle finding a buyer by finding a mage guild or holding an auction, mostly for other adventurers. In Realms games the party wizard or sorcerer usually tries to go to the annual Mage Fair, wherever it may be. We, also...
