Maybe you should check out Four Color To Fantasy. Its hero class is much like the anima, but with many of the options you are proposing. I have used both in the same campaign without too much trouble. You just need to watch the stranger powers.

There have only been a handful of PCs without at least one dagger in my 9 years of gaming. The ones that didn't start out with one usually found reason to get one. :)

I've run a couple of games with VP/WP and armor as DR. In both of them I used the SWRPG version of armor. kenobi65 brought up the main points of that. I don't think I would use WP without armor as DR.

I used Players Option books in 2e, they introduced 10 second rounds.

Elements of Magic Revised, been the standard form of magic in every D20 game I've GM'd since it came out. It's very flexible and scales easily, even into epic levels. My players would have it no other way. :cool:

I voted no, but thats only because I buy almost every book you put out. It does mean I will spend more money on E.N. Pub. products. I will very likely get many of your books in print from now on.

I view this in the same way I do other companies who put out books in PDF and then print later. If I like the PDF and want print I'll buy it. $17.95 is about what what I'd pay for a regular print product, so I see it as a fair deal. I for one am very glad to see E.N. Publishing in print.

I use around half. The other half are made with the PHB and DMG. Humans are the most frequent encounters.

How would you get immunity or resistance to paralysis and sleep? I was trying to figure out how to simulate some creatures abilities, and got stuck on this. I was thinking of an Anima version of a dragon disciple. Sleep is less important now that it's off the charm list though.

I just interpret it as makingthe edge impossibly fine, since it's the same affect. Just modify flavor text. Although, if you make improved critical part of another list you may want to ignore the one that's there. It could cause problems if you have too many increases.

In the games where I've used armor as DR I also used vitality points. I treat it like Star Wars d20. The DR only applies to wounds.
