Copperheads: Betrayal and Strange Runes and Burning Dead, oh my (short update 02/12)

Sorry about the lack of a follow-up update. Landlords came around Saturday and asked us to move all the furniture in the house so they could renovate, which left me with fairly patch internet connection. Then the two days we were supposed to live like that got stretched out ot the entire week...

Any good OGL rules on customizing NON Magic armor (and or weapons) online

Not entirely sure if it's what you are looking for, but Heroes of High Favor: Dwarves had some rules for craftsman enhancements - making armor lighter, more resilent, that sort of thing.

    Tear Water Tea

I used to have a couple of spoons, but these days I keep the books in a seperate pile and turn to them every time I want to run a one-off or a session at a Con. Last year it elevated BESM out of the pile, this year it does the same with Phil Reed's Vs. Monsters. That being said, I still...

Is it wrong for a game to have an agenda?

Seconded. But if someone makes a game out of Houseplants of Gor, I'd buy it in a second.

    DM's Notes

Like others, I tend to use a three-ring binder and my computer to keep the majority of my notes together. If you're looking for a place to start and the kind of notes to kee, try Ronin Arts Campaign Planner. Both this and Campaign Planner 2 get a fairly solid workout in my folder.

What do you do when a PC dies because of a bad dice roll?

Raise Dead is made for these kinds of circumstances.

Is it wrong for a game to have an agenda?

DnD has an agenda if you look closely enough - you kill things, take their stuff, and become increasingly more wealthy, powerful and important within the context of the game. Now take that model and apply it to a capitalist society... :) On a more serious note, I don't necessarily think...

Copperheads: Betrayal and Strange Runes and Burning Dead, oh my (short update 02/12)

The corridor seems to stretch on forever, winding backwards and forwards towards the deep breathing of something LARGE and HEAVY in the distance. Amarin is barely conscious, stumbling forward on pure instinct and following the mental tug of his psi-crystal. Everyone else is on edge, weapons...

Copperheads: Betrayal and Strange Runes and Burning Dead, oh my (short update 02/12)

Yep, the bumps work. At least, they work when I see them. I really should subscribe to the thread again if the e-mail notification has been reactivated. Good news: I found my notes for these sessions, so I'm no longer flying blind. Bad news: The last two weeks has been kind of hectic. I've...

    X-PATH 2 : The Forge of F.U. (Completed 15 April 2005)

Nope. The US released him back into the wild for a few weeks around Christmas, so we played then. The entiring of the Forge was covered in a two-day marathon session rather than a series of Thursday night games, which is how we actually managed to convince Simon to show up with some regularity :)

What a Magic Shop looks like?

That there are examples of magic item stores that have been around for a while & how does this affect the ongoing discussion of Magic Shops and their role in the game. As it's being used for comedy purposes, I'm not entirely sure it has any impact on the discussion. The idea is there, yes, but...

    Earthshaker! - your experiences?

I ran it. Although it has a slight goofiness to it, it handles pretty well as an adventure. Players take on the fantasy equivelent of a terrorist team that's trying to take control of a giant machine. The first time I ran was just after I got it. It went okay - I was younger then, so I had...
