Ive been running a 26yr old game and am need of 2 newplayers
1) 90% of the time we play my homebrew very low llevel epic D&D/Call of Cthulu(3.5 rules w some house rules). The game world is oriented toward Fighters and wizards and against clerics, slightly more combat than roleplaying...
with 4e only a few months away I am finally throwing away my mixed bag 1st ed rules for 3.5,I also will give 4e a fair shot(but I honestly think Ill just lift some concepts)
Hi I just died and am starting a 8th L Barbarian in forgotten realms
my stats are 19,18,13,11x3
I want to be human
looking to min max my feats and suggestions for my 27K gold
OK I use 4 charaters of this sort in my D&D homebrew
First I have a tribunal of 'gods'(I cant say exactly what they are)OF HP LOvecraft,RE HOward
and Rod Serling
and in the cultest ridden streets of the city of Arkam a masked Man giving out Justice! Batman
Sword Fronds-each plant yields 1-8'Fruit"every1-12 years When in bloom the "fruit 'can be picked and used as weopons(randomly determine Dagger to Great Sword) Each 'Fruit is plus 1-8 and can be used for one month and then dies
I dont think Im an extreme,Some of the dragons Ive run as ubber-powerful ,most not,
I just dont see them as brilliant tacticians, otherwise theyed be acting like idiots around human peasant-I just dont think of them as paranoid
The game is set at the end of time where the lovecraftian gods are about to destroy all life.
the players are GAKL,the Greater Adventuring Kharmic Line.It is their job to hold off the enevitible end for as long as possible.Right now the players are stuggling to regain title to the Kharmic line...
Im tired of threads that make Dragons out to be these uber munckin machines.
1) Dragons are arogant-you can only run into so many L3 commoners before you get a little jaded
2)spell selection-a dragon could go 50 years without facing a serious threat,it would take spells to aid it in day to day...
