I wonder if these guys are even still going? I've twice attempted to register to their forums, only to say that membership must be approved by a mod, and never does. Their magazine for A|State and Cold City looked GREAT, but only put out 1 issue. I'm bummed. Hey: If you guys are still alive...

I'd certainly think about it, but again, shelling out for a book I may not like and can't see firsthand. I didn't see your review of it, or did you not do one?

Is there a PDF available anywhere for A|State RPG? I've been dying to grab it, but at $30 for a hardcover sight unseen, I'm a bit skeptical. Does anyone know if there is a place for this? Is anyone from Contested Ground alive to answer this?

Not to Hijack - but any reason by Etherscope core book and Just A Delivery are listed at RPGNow in just the 'Modern' category, while all other supplements are listed under d20 modern general? Not that I think the sales numbers are bad, but I would figure they'd be much improved in the d20...

Needless to say, this Story Hour is straight BRILLIANT. I always love robot sidekicks (unless Dirk is the sidekick, which would be great). I don't have eberron, but if this is any clue as to what eberron is...there goes another $40 down the drain.

I'll just chime in to object on moving the d20 forum to general. The general forum is polluted with other topics and actually makes it easier for those of us who have no interest in D&D or other random gaming general stuff.

Cool. Now I'll have to check out some SEP stuff. I like the flexibility of being able to choose my class abilities as well. It's one of the great parts of True20 (no abilities, just tons of feats). And yes, I think some of the chargen info in the beginning may apply, however it gives suggested...

I'd say it's 50/50.. A good portion of the book is feat/skill uses. I don't know how much of that is convertable to TS/SI. The first 20 pages or so are d20 rules based. The last 20-23 pages are more general, GM informational sections about agencies/sub-agencies, and a guide to running a cold...

Or it could mean that everyone gets a bump at 4th level, droids just get 2 abilities.

Actually, there's nothing to say an AdC can't have a talent tree. In theory, every class has a tree, you just don't get to select which order you take stuff in. :) Chuck actually wrote a number of trees for Haven: City of Violence AdCs, and I thought that the use of trees for Advanced Classes...

Darnit. I couldn't even hold out for the weekend, I had to buy it at work. Quick skim through: Not too shabby. I'm sure I can find some use out of it in the long run.

Would it work for running a more front line WWIII style game? I am thinking something more akin to "Red Dawn" than "Spies like us." I'm just not into the Bourne or Bond style spy genre stuff, although I can certainly see use out of the flavor text. Also, come by the chat room some time this...

Hey Chuck, is that going to get a preview up any time soon? It sounds interesting, but the marketing text doesn't really tell us what's inside. Oh, and do you need RPGO's other agent book, or does this one reprint a few of the feats and such that were in the other spy product you put out?
