I'll try this again.. 2 of us in North Baltimore, looking to game. Pretty much anything but D&D. DitV, d20 Modern, True20, you name it. I'll GM if I must. Looking to game Saturday/Sunday afternoons, 2-3 times a month.

For anyone who sees this - I highly recommend Noir. Yes, it's for M&M1e, but it is an excellently written product that is highly useful for non1e and non M&M games. It's a great all around resource for Noir style gaming.

I'd rather say we're on 2.0, since it started with M&M and Blue Rose was the 1.5 edition. :P And in spite of running a d20 modern chat room, True20 will be likely to replace 100% of my gaming. I'll still purchase some d20 modern stuff as I try to convert, but I will slow all my non-True20...

I'll have to look through it again. It was probably the best supplement I've ever purchased, regardless of rules set. And it's for M&M1e, which may or may not be different. Hands down, without the stat stuff, it's a valuable resource. I'd just like to see it done in True20 style :)

God I really hope they follow this up with Companion II. I'd like to see a chapter on: Pulp Noir Western Gaslight/Victorian Apocalypse (there is a small bit on it in Horror - but could definately use a full chapter in companion II)

Yay! True20 companion is (FINALLY!) out. I downloaded it earlier and read through some of it. Who has it? Opinions? I'm really excited to see the non-fantasy setting chapters to see how I can move all my modern gaming from d20 modern to True 20.

Why would I want to buy a book with 4-5 half settings, knowing full well each one is likely going to put out another FULL setting book months later? Maybe for something like Razor it's ok, but Blood Throne and such are (hopefully) going to have full lines growing from them...at least as much as...

You're on it. Aside from d20 Future, all the books are kind of flimsy and incomplete. They give you a couple of campaign models, but just enough to make you want more and angry you didn't get enough. Really...7 pages just aint enough to really get a model going. I'd rather see 2 models get 20-30...
