You're just providing evidence for DaveDash's assertion that you don't think very tactically. Your fighter grapples the NPC spellcaster on his turn, then you cast silence. Boom, BBEG made almost harmless.

I'd simply make the -5/+10 only apply once per turn, like sneak attack. That'll keep it under control while still making it useful, particularly in situations where you have advantage/bless/+X weapons or whatever.

Generally identical magical spells and effects don't stack in 5E. You could still let the unique parts of the aura from different subclasses stack without the flat modifier.
