    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

At least some sap would come out if it was punctured. With the iron golem, you might get a few small iron filings... DR/slashing *or* adamantine would be fine.

    Quickling

It would lend some flavor to their evil nature. I'm for it!

I like the way this guy turned out. Was going to say more, but turns out that's really all I had!

    Vampire Moss

Yeah, you're right. I read it as division at first. That changed by the time I finished typing my post, but I forgot to fix it in the post!

    Quickling

    - invisible when unmoving (would Invisibility Purge work?) - 100% concealment when moving (assuming one can actual see the thing, would True Strike negate this ability, as it negates misses due to concealment, even though this ability is not "true" concealment?) - permanent blur (if dispelled...

    Vampire Moss

It sounds awkward at first reading, but after a few reads, it looks ok. I can't think of any way to make it sound less awkward, as it's currently a simple division... But wait...are we talking about the # of hit points drained before going unconsious, or the amount of time the victim stays...

I think Kafkonia's proposed Life Drain ability looks good. Regeneration is a good idea, too; maybe Regeneration 2?

I've always preferred to let the players roleplay the effect of suddenly losing the last 24 hours of memories, rather than add an actual Confusion effect. I would say 1d3 Wis damage would be sufficient.

Converting monsters from First Edition modules

    I agree. Sweet!

    Converting monsters from Dungeon Magazine

What do we have left on this guy? Should probably drop this a bit, eh? 22 rounds in combat...you may as well just say "forever"...especially since I imagine an additional save is going to need to be made each round someone is within 15' of it, or the counter will get reset? How about...

    Obliviax

And now I've actually had time to read what you guys have been posting about the Obliviax, and also had time to better look over my conversion (which is more and more shoddy as I look at it :p) I'm not sure why I decided it had no Str or Dex. I think it would probably have at least average...

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

I think adamantine *and* slashing would be too powerful. I would prefer DR/slashing over adamantine, for flavor.

    Obliviax

By the time I have time to post my rendition, you will have had time to convert it again... I like being busy, but it's been ridiculous this week. Hopefully THIS weekend, I can post what I have...

    Obliviax

I already converted this little guy, because I liked them in 2nd Ed. and wanted to use them in my 3rd Ed. campaign (and did -- how fun!). I'll try and post the conversion this weekend; it probably needs some tweaking (was one of my first conversions, I think).

The Deabilitator (Wizard) - need advice

If you're looking to weaken opponents, I definitely would not throw away Necromancy :)

    Wall of force question.

Depending on the giant's distance from the PCs (and the wall), I can completely see this happening. The giant may even end up on his back...and then he'd have some more penalties ;)
  18. D

    Wall of force question.

Yes. As Infiniti2000 pointed out, the giant will be extremely handicapped (PCs at 100% cover) until he figures out what is going on. Once he does and can attack the PCs under the wall, the cover will no longer be a factor. However, the DM could still assign a circumstance penalty to the...

What monsters do you want to see in Dragon magazine?

Hopefully I'll have some time to assist with conversions. I really do enjoy working with you folks!
