    Converting monsters from Dungeon Magazine

Looks good to me, as well. Nitpicky editor's note: Wandstrike (Ex): A conjurer puppet can strike with its wand as a swift action. The wandstrike deals 2d6 points of electricity (no save) with a successful range touch attack. Its maximum range is 30 feet with no range increment. Should be...

Feats and Lure Snare look good.

Yes for medium. I'm fine leaving the spikey ball attack as flavor text.

The stat block looks good for this guy. For Tactics, we can use the original text: "The wavefire is as straightforward a combatant as they come. With its great swimming speed, it rushes upon its foes and bashes them with a forceful, boiling wave of water."

Is it possible for it to use its telepathic ability to "speak" to deafened opponents, for purposes of Charming them?

    Converting Maztica and Horde monsters

How many skills does he get at max rank? I agree with freyar and Shade. Max: Spellcraft, Concentration, Knowledge (Religion), Bluff, Gather Information, Intimidate, Diplomacy, several varieties of Perform(Dance, several instruments, song), and then see how many points are left over. Tumble...

Converting Monsters from D&D Official Video Games

Clockwork Balance sounds fine to me. I can't come up with anything else, let alone anything better ;) I opt for straightforward feats. Great Fortitude to make them a little heartier, perhaps, Power Attack, and 1 more?

Allowing them to treat any one-handed weapon as light is a fun idea. AbilityName (Ex): Copper Automatons treat any one-handed simple or martial weapon as light, for purposes of determining two-handed fighting penalties.

For feats, how about Dodge, Improved Init, and Power Attack? Steam damage should probably change by size, as fire damage does for the Fire Elementals. It could even follow the same progression.

So for stats, say: Str 18, Dex 17, Con 18, Int 8, Wis 11, Cha 11 Keep the advancement line, but cap it at Huge.

Special Conversion Thread: Frogs n' Toads

I'd say the usual 1d6 per 10 feet thrown would be fine. DC 15 for the save looks fine as well. 4 skins for medium sized leather? 5?

    Planescape Converting Planescape monsters

I could buy that. The definition of the elemental type states it is composed of a single element, being water in this case, so that fits. It's just really hot water :) An elemental, with the water and fire subtypes. Fun! Immune to Fire, vulnerable to cold. Cold attacks also slow them for...

Converting "generic setting" second edition monsters

I think we already took care of this by giving him extra reach. He is only going to be able to reach so far. If someone is using a bow or spells at a distance, this attack method would not work, anyway. Extra flavor text, using most of the original text: if grappling with the tether beast...

    Converting monsters from Imagine Magazine

It makes sense that a huge one would be worth more (and be more dangerous) than a small one. Maybe set a base price, and then set a multiplier based on size? Say base price is for a Medium, at 25,000 gp? Small is 1/2 that price. Tiny is 1/2 Small's price. Dim is 1/2 Tiny's price. Fine...etc...

Special Conversion Thread: Frogs n' Toads

Swim 20 ft? I'm not sure if a racial bonus to Swim fits, since they hunt mostly on land. Sounds fair. If added to the skills entry, it could be a penalty applied, such as: Spined Toads have a -4 racial modifier to Hide checks while in forested areas. Could create a sort of "Spikey Ball"...

    Converting Maztica and Horde monsters

I agree. Though he still has 7 feats coming to him, so he may get a focus of some sort from there. I do not think he will require one in addition to his feats, however.

    Rogue build advice

You stated you don't want to go with any wizard classes, but if you want to multiclass, your high Int would lend very well to any Int-based class. Or you could stick to being a single-classed, intelligent rogue, specializing in melee or ranged attacks. I play a human rogue myself, with similar...
